Also getting compliments down here in south NJ. Cant wait to get drop kit and cowl on her, gonna change the my license plate to "Pnty Drpr". It will only be fitting. (Panty Dropper)

Seen a lot of these, "One of a kind SS's." This 1, I think takes the cake. Southern Coach edition, I especially like the "SS" emblems that were drawn on the tailgate with a Crayola crayon. Nice find.

This must've been Vanilla Ice's 5.o

Take a look a the 3rd picture in the post, It is the last thing Id expect to see in a 5.0. It is next to the shifter on the passenger side

3-4gs should be a nice heads and cam man a cam kit only costs 600-1000 then the heads 1000-1500 so far you would be looking at 2500 or so and pay to get it installed heads cam can add a good 100hp as well as sound great and if you still have a 1000 left over than buy a stall!
Can I get some other input on these upgrades? I like the idea of a cam (sound).

Thanks for the heads up, kissfans03ss, has a sale pending on a radix, that I hope will fall through.
-
What makes it a clone, because its black? Gotta love innovation.

Im going to do an MP112. Anything I need to know or do to the motor while im in it, trucks got 80k on her, port, polish?? Want to keep his thing for a while
-
welcome and congrats, nice color
-
Thanks for the link, started out as a good advice thread then started ramblin'. Im leanin toward the MP112 and just doint the upgrades, now to just find one at the right price
-
So, MP112 or MP122, what make 1 better than the other, learning process here?
-
If your keeping it as a daily driver and are worried about saving gas or maybe even adding a MPG or two to your truck (if you can go easy on her LOL) I'd go with a used mp112 or Mp122 Radix... Easy bolt on and 120-140HP's with the push of the pedal... A cam and heads are GENERALLY going to demand more fuel due to longer durations the valves stay open over stock... If you dont plan on towing anything too heavy I'd go with a 2800-3000 stall on top of the radix for that extra grab the seat of your pants acceleration haha... I have a 3000 stall in my truck and my TC is locking up between 3000-3500... Tough to tell on the scanner because my scanner goes by 1/5ths of a second and within 2 tenths of a second my truck went from 2500-3500rpms and 2mph-16mph with lots of front wheel spin... LOL.... If I were to ever have my truck just as a daily I would only supercharge it and do the necessary tranny work... Me on the other hand my SSS is not my daily so I went with the cam, head work, boost, meth, NO2 etc... blahaha... Gas MPG still averages 10-12 so I am happy with it
Im Liking the advice, think Im leaning towards the SC now, fuel is no worry, I work very close to home and use the old ladies car when we go far. I also want some funds to go toward the cowl hood and 3/4 drop kit, gotta look good while im burning up the rubber ya know.

Ive got vette servos and the tune already so maybe cam, stall, and headers?

Id do the SC if I could score one for the right price. How can I upgrade the tranny to handle the added power?
-
I was thinking, headers, mild cam. Supercharger is on the higher side of what id like to spend.

I am refi-ing my house and will have a little bit of extra bread in a few weeks.
I want to make the ol' SS a little more aggressive. This is my daily driver so nothing crazy. Lookin to spend maybe 3-4k. Currently have CAI, exhaust (stock headers), and a tune.
Ive done a few mustangs in the past but never gotten the gains I'd have liked from the amount of $ spent. I want to do this one right so Im looking for suggestions, keeping in mind this is my DD.

Putting money into something doesnt mean its worth what your asking. I put a total of $60K in my camaro and its only about $9,000 in mint condition. I would never be able to get even $30K for my car. My 03 SSS has less miles than your truck and its only worth $25K . A vehicle is only worth what its worth regardless of whats doe to it, or how much money was spent. I do understand there are people who appreciate the work and money in this truck, and would pay more than what its value is, but no one is going to pay $40k or even close to that for this.
Im curious to know why you want to sell a truck with all the extra money you put into it? I know if I bought this when it was for sale, you would have to pry my dead hands off the steering wheel, or bury me in it.
Very well put. This Post is something out of Dallas Car Sharks. GLWS

Could've smacked some SS decals and called it a day. That's a B.A. diesel. If I get rid of my SS that's the direction Im going.
