  1. No I don't have access to another radio. I might try to find a good deal on one. It just seems odd to me that the white plug works and the green one doesn't.
  2. The greenish color plug is what I'm referring to as the Bose plug. Not the plain white plug.
  3. The unlock on my key fob quit working too. Lock and the alarm are fine. It ended up being a break in the solder. It broke in one of the 3 sides that you slide the battery in. Re solder and it works fine now. Could be your problem.
  4. Alright about 6 months ago I noticed my radio would occasionally not put any sound out. Happened a few times and eventually all sounds quit. No chimes, no noise while the radio was on and turned up. I did a little searching and figured it was my factory amp that went out. I read about our trucks having the bose connector at the back of the factory CD player. I read we also have the connection for the trucks that aren't equipped with Bose. So I switched connertors and the radio and chimes work. They're just quiet even if you turn the radio all the way up. So I'm just running off the CD player. No big deal until get another amp. Yesterday I plugged in the amp I bought from a member on here and I switched back to what I assume is the Bose connector at the back of the CD player. The radio won't even power on now and I don't have any chimes either. Does anyone have the schematic for this Bose nonsense? Or can anyone point me in the right direction? It's possible I have 2 bad amps but I don't think that's the problem. Also the 6 disk CD player is jammed. Not sure if that would affect anything.
  5. If you still have the amp I'll take it this Friday.
  6. I know towing threads are all over and I've read most of them. I'm moving in the next week and I'll be towing a 6 by 12 uhaul trailer. The trailer weighs right at 2000 lbs and realistic weight I'll be putting inside should be the same. I'm not so worried about that specially my concern is I'll have my 500 lb bike in the bed of my truck plus another 200-400 in the cab. I know the truck is rated to tow 7400 or close to it, but has anyone ever towed with the truck being loaded too? I'm just worried about the factory suspension being too soft. My suspension is all stock, no helper bags or springs, factory wheels with decent tires that will hold the weight. What's the most weight anyone has pulled or loaded in the ss before your worried about the truck bottoming out or sag? Any advice or input is appreciated.
  7. Does anyone have any other ideas on what could be wrong? I could really use some bright lights....
  8. Hey guys I just bout a 03 silverado ss with 83,000 on it. I noticed that i dont have any bright lights or 4 way lights. Nothing outside or on the dash. All turn signals work when you just use the signal and my bright light bulbs are in and connected and new. I've checked the inside fuse panel and the engine fuse panel. The fuses and relays are good there. I jusst replaced the turn signal lever assembly with a new one and still no change. Does anyone know what else to check or have any ideas? Any help would be great! Thanks!
