  1. Well I did a little calling around and yeah it sounds like a wiring problem most likely, I was kind of thinking that cause both seats do the same thing. Ill have to see what I can find. Thanks
  2. When ever I hit the botten the light comes on for a second maybe 2 and the light go's off, both seats do this. Any ideas what this might be?

  4. Yeah, I guess when I said race I mean more just modifing, most of the stuff I work on is all street cars/truck used as daily drivers just want more performance. I personally hate anything loud even a full blown drag car I would put mufflers on. I guess what I was saying is ls engines love there exhaust flow, from all the engine's iv ever worked on these seem to like large headers/exhaust the most. Anyways im off topic but yeah trying to get a nice sound without the drone seems to be hard to do for some reason, iv never tryed a corsa muffler before but that's what im going to try if I cant get rid of it on mine.

Im also surprised at how much the exhaust can change the power curve of the engine, say dual 2.5 vs single 3.5 they both flow about the same but the single 3.5 gives you more mid range torque vs dual 2.5 is more of a high rpm hp. Iv always liked the ypipe and single 3in with a cutout, you get high exhaust speed of the single 3in yet you dont run into back pressure problems at the high rpm. Also yes we have noticed driveabilty, idle quality, tuning is all better with a little more back pressure. As far as drone go's, im about to hurt myself with this magnaflow it sucks so bad in mine, im going to try the resonater tube on mine from the link I posted and see if it works, I will report back with the results when I get it done.
  6. You dont need any back pressure, iv been racing ls engines for quite a while and they always run better with open exhaust, a bullet muffler is the best thing you can use. One car had a h/c/I lq4 with dual 3in exhaust and magnaflow mufflers, I dropped the exhaust and made a pass on straight headers and it went 2 tenths faster. More flow = more torque. Just like going to a larger tube header gives you more torque.
  7. Your going to want atleast 350 cfm flowing heads for a 408, cam is plenty big I would get something closer to a 230 cam on a 110 lsa and enjoy that torque. My buddy had a 416 with prc 237 heads, 24?-25? Cam, fast 102 setup from them and it dyno'd 560rwhp in his 6 speed c5 vett if that helps.

  9. Note those lift numbers are with ls7 1.8 rockers so on 1.7s we looking at closer to 550 lift, however the ls9 cam is the same thing with those lift numbers on a 1.7 so it would be the one to go with. They pull good up high I just hate the 121 lsa.
  10. Truck looks really good, like the stance. But you have a 305-50? I like the wide tire look but im thinking a little lower profile, you would be close to 33 inchs tall right? I was thinking a 31 inch maybe.
  11. My plan is to get the stock crome 20 for my truck and put rear drop shackles on and drop a bit up front with the torsions, Im just not sure what will look the best at this hight, 285-50, 295-45, or 305-45. Im leaning to the 295s but id like to see some pics if anyone has some. Thanks.
  12. Agreed it will lope pretty good, but other wise I think you would really like the way it will run. Id recommend a 3400 stall converter though for best performance, but what you have will still work fine.

  14. Yeah ill see what I find, I dont think ill mod it past that and if I do it will be a wet nitrous system which I wont need more injector for. But if I buy new ones I might aswell get 42s. Figered id just install a set of stock flex fuel injectors for now.
