  1. Hey everyone, i just bought a used zex nitrous kit today as sort of an impulse buy haha, i was wondering if the nitrous management units are interchangeable? this kit was for a turbo application and only came with a 50hp jet, can i just buy bigger jets and be good to go?
  2. Well hopefully it all works out for me haha. I'll probably just end up buying a new tranny too. One more question, when I bought my longtubes I got some moroso spiral flows as well. I haven't put them on because my glasspacks finally burnt out all the fibreglass and it sounds sick. Has anyone used spiral flows? If so how do they sound?
  3. I believe it's a magnacharger. And thanks for the replies you guys
  4. As the title says, I'm a little overwhelmed here haha. It's time to drop some serious money on my truck. I always planned on going supercharged, but after getting smoked by a blown 5.3 with a sled in the back my ego was shot. Called up my uncle and he's going to sell me his supercharger for dirt cheap. But I also want a cam and anything that I need with it. There's the problem. I need a list of parts to help me get on the right path. I'm definitely not looking for an 11 second truck as it's my DD. Current mods are afe cold air, pacesetter long tubes cat delete true dual all the way back into glasspacks. 160° t stat and a wheatley tune. Given current mods what would everyone recommend to never get smoked by a 5.3 with 2500 pounds in the back again haha. Oh and theres this srt-10 that seems to find me at every red light that I wouldnt mind showing the taillights
  5. The dealership caliper was only 115 once I took the core back in, so I can live with that. I just bled the brakes a few times after doing a fluid change and the brakes seem fine. So thanks everyone for your help
  6. Well after taking off the rear wheel I found out that I lost a pad, a piston and half of rotor is literally sheered off. That would explain the clunking noises. Is there anyway to get around going to the dealer to get it bled?
  7. Thanks, any idea what the caliper might cost at a dealership? I kinda figured it might be the seals, but wasn't sure. I'll check for sure in the morning
  8. Hey everyone, I have a question or two. Today I was driving in the city and noticed my rear right brakes were squeaking. So I thought "no big deal, pads are worn and I'll change them tomorrow", next red light I come to, I press the pedal, hear a loud clunk and lose brake pressure. So obviously I'm freaked out. I go to the nearest place to pull over and take a look, and the caliper is pissing fluid everywhere. It's not the line and I don't know a lot about brakes so if anyone could chime in and help me out that would be great. I have a feeling this is gunna set me back a few bucks. Thanks
  9. Well my code reader pulled up p0300, which I believe is random misfire, I'm hoping the wire change will resolve the issue
  10. I replaced all the plugs and the flash is still there, I just picked up some new plug wires today and will put them in this morning (I work nights). However I'm concerned that the wires look a little short. They are Taylor thundervolts part# 82205. Any ideas if these will fit?. Oh an Canadian, I've seen you driving on highway 2 and also at Friday night street legals, very nice truck
  11. Well I got the headers in, awesome. But now I have a flashing cel along with rough idle, surging under acceleration and an engine shake. After the test drive I found that one part of the header paint wasn't burning off. Checked the spark plug and the ceramic insulator is cracked. Would this be the source of all my issues?
  12. Yeah I'll be sure to mark it before I do anything, just to clarify, that bolt is a 9/16 right? Cause I did try to get it off with a 15 and there was too much play. I didn't want to round it off
  13. Alright I'll try that tomorrow morning. Thanks for the fast reply
  14. Okay so I've used the search button and haven't found a whole lot. I'm installing heddman shortys on my truck and it is kicking my ass. I can not for the life of me get the old driver side manifold out. All the bolts are out but I can't manoeuvre the thing out. Any ideas? Or the proper way to do this?
