  1. Thanks, and yes it does have some miles on it, but id be surprised if it doesnt last until 450,000 miles. I've seen trucks like mine go for around $12,000 and then I've seen trucks in worse shape than mine with rusted rockers and cab corners asking $16,000. Could also be a money maker if you throw a plow on the front or want to do some cross country hauling. If nobody is interested I have no problem keeping it. Anyway heres some more pics of the engine bay and interior.
  2. Forgot to mention I'm located in south bend indiana. Also the truck has a clean title in my name. Also have a clean carfax to go with it, never been hit.
  3. I've been considering trading my 2003 Duramax for a Silverado SS, posting this to see if there is any interest. I just don't have any need for the diesel and have always like the SSS trucks. I bought the truck in august of 2013 from kentucky with 216k miles on it. It now has 235k miles (will go 450,000+ if well taken care of) I have receipts for everything I have done to the truck. It is clean and rust free. The rockers, cab corners, and frame was coated with POR-15 to prevent rust over this winter. It is an extended cab short bed LT model. Light grey leather interior. 4x4 and allison 5 speed automatic trans. I will be very honest with this right off the bat. Its a clean good looking truck but was used as a truck at one point. There are a handfull of flaws with this truck but nothing really too major or mechanical. Been using it as my daily driver since I bought it and it runs excellent. I maintain my vehicles very well, 99% of the flaws with this truck are from the previous owner. Truck starts right up in the cold. Block heater works if you need it. I just started it yesterday at about 10 degrees F yesterday without the block heater and it will fire up first try. 4x4 is push button and works as it should. Trans shifts good and engine is quiet like its supposed to be. The bad: -drivers seat showing some wear, not terrible but needs attention soon. Heating element just went out this winter. -Radio works but CD player doesn't take CD's -Needs ball joints replaced up front (working on taking care of this soon) -Drivers side window tint just started peeling off this week (also trying to take care of this soon) -Rock chips on the bottom 4" of the cab/bed. Not too noticeable unless you get right up on it. (just from highway mileage over the years) -Rear bumper has a baseball sized dent in it -A couple minor dings/dents on the lower part of passenger door and scratch on the tailgate -Tires at about 25% tread -ABS light has been on since I have owned it but it never really bothered me. Brakes fine probably just a sensor or something. -front tires have a slight rub at full tilt however I have some leveling keys that will take care of this, just not installed yet. The good: -All work has 20k or less miles on it with receipts for everything! -All 8 injectors replaced at 220K by a certfied diesel tech -EFI Live tuning by Kory Willis of PPEI (best in the business) with 5 tunes you can switch on the fly. -FASS 150 titanium lift pump at same time as injectors -Method Mesh 17x8.5 wheels with BFG All terrain 315/70/17 Tires -Have a full size spare BFG on a 17" aluminum hummer H2 wheel to go with -Pro comp lug nuts -AEM Brute Force HD cold air intake with dry-flow filter -Alligator performance turbo inlet horn -MBRP 3" downpipe -Magnaflow 5" straight pipe exhaust -PPE boost increase valve -Banks 3" intercooler pipes and couplers -New moog idler arm and moog pitman arm just installed -New merchant auto tig welded water pump and seals just installed with new coolant and both new thermostats -Rare Parts Heavy duty tie rods (huge compared to stock) -Transmission supposedly has a mild rebuild (shift kit and triple disc converter). I dont have any receipt for this but the converter is bright blue in color which leads me to believe its aftermarket. -New GM flexplate with ARP hardware -Mean Green high torque starter -Intake heater delete plug with tap for boost gauge -Changed Transfer case fluid to merchant automotive special t-case fluid -Changed Rear diff fluid to Mobil 1 synthetic with limited slip additive -changed transmission fluid to Transynd synthetic (made just for allison trans) -new Allison trans filter and fuel filters changed all the time -Rotella T6 synthetic 5w40 engine oil changed every 3,000 miles -T-rex black billet grill -Crystal clear headlights and tinted tail lights -Side moldings and tailgate emblems have been shaved for a cleaner look -Tow mirrors, hitch, hitch in the bed, brake controller -newer rear brakes -shorty radio antenna -DeeZee black diamond plate bed rail and tailgate caps -New serpentine belt, idler pulleys, tensioner pulley -2 new 850cca batteries last year -new OEM alternator recently I also have some brand new parts in boxes not installed yet that can be negotiated such as: Brand new set of CalTracs traction bars New set of leveling keys for the front end Autometer A-pillar dual gauge pod Autometer factory matched boost pressure and Exhaust Gas Temp gauges Email if interested at [email protected]. I will try to get more pics up soon, the weather has been crappy here in Indiana lately so its hard to get good pics. The hummer H2 wheels are no longer on the truck, it currently has the black method wheels on it.
