So 15909826 has what looks like one more low pressure return (assuming for hydroboost, which I want in the future). I'm wondering if can cap that for now and use this pump.

Ok, so last winter I heard my PS pump groan a few times. My truck has 150k on it. So when I was doing the top end of the motor a month ago, at the last minute I decided to swap out the pump. I got one from Autozone. I know guys have said they have had bad luck with non-GM pumps...and I should have listened. It's been a month and this pump has shit out in me. Trying to turn the wheel under 1500 rpms...forget it. Now this autozone pump looked exactly like mine except it had a second low pressure return on the backside. Which I assumed was for hydroboost (which is something I plan on upgrading to in the future anyway, so I thought it was a bonus) and I just capped it. So, I did some digging and I thought I came up with the updated pump part number, 15909826. I was assuming from what I read, this was the new version of what I already had. Ordered it off eBay. It doesn't look right. And before I go through the trouble of pulling it all apart just to put this bad one back in. Can anyone tell me, is there a PS pump, that is intended for hydroboost, that will work in my truck right now? I need a part number. GMs part numbering sometimes makes my head spin. Thanks

The rear most exhaust manifold bolt on each side of my old heads were broke by 100k miles. The "ticking" sound drove me nuts.

What did you get the axle off of? I'd like to upgrade my rear end to this as well, but I thought the rwd 14 bolts were all drum.

I've done all thats listed in that kit to my truck minus the DJM front sway bar(and no c notch either). And i can attest, my truck handles awesome!! *Living in the midwest, driving year round, those upper control arm bushings and bolts….. ….4" grinder is your friend, LOL!
