IMO you should keep negative opinions to yourself on a for sale posting. Some like it, some don't. Most forums like this are about people with similar interests helping each other out. If you want to buy the truck but don't like the grille I can buy an original.

Having the grille redone while it's in the shop

I just took the truck in to the shop a couple of days ago to have every little blemish I could find fixed so that the truck is as near perfect as possible. It should be out today or tomorrow.

I wouldn't mind the stock grille, either, but it has an aggressive look in person...much better without the logo on it now.

123k miles. Hardly any on the transmission and transfer case.

Just joined a few weeks ago. Bought my second SSS back in June, a 2005 AWD. Bought my first one brand new in 2003, one of the first in the country I think. Had to sell it in 2005 when I went to seminary and took a big pay cut. Missed it. I was glad to have one again until the transmission and transfer case both had to be replaced one month after I got it. Still love these trucks, though.

I have a set of factory Silverado SS 20" wheels in good condition with decent tires on them. I'll take cash or might trade for a few things I need on the truck: bed liner (or spray-in), tool box (under the rail side mount only), spare tire rigging, respray the front bumper, driver door hinge, respray tailgate, tailgate or custom work on tailgate, driver seat motor or repair, minor leather repair, ghost flames color changed (Silverado SS from blue to red & Impala SS could use a matching set). Would also trade for landscaping around our house or head repair on a 4.3L OMC boat motor. Weatherstripping is needed on our 63 Caddy as well. Lots of options, let me know what you have.
