  1. I have the 3 bumper grills aswell. Email me if ur still looking for some. [email protected]
  2. I was thinking of swapping to 4:56 or 4:88 aswell. My buddy has a 5.3L with around 400hp at the crank and went with 4:56. He said if he did it again he would have gone 4:88. The difference in gas mileage with his 4:56 isnt as bad as everyone says, in town its better (engine works less) but highway a little worse. Only revs 200rpm higher on the highway with his 4:56 compared to 4:10. Go with 4:88!!!
  3. Breaking? Must have alot of power or loves hard clutch pops haha. Online it says the t-56 can handle 450hp-500hp no problem in the corvettes/CTS-V's.
  4. I was wondering if anyone has done a T56 swap with 2wd in their SS? All I know about this swap is it will need a custom driveshaft, bellhousing, the gearshift is 6-8" furter back than the NV3500's, and obviously that it only works with 2wd, and that it should bolt in! I know its a big project but i cant resist a 6speed manual. I also have a RCSB 2004 Silverado 5speed (nv3500) 4x4 with a 4.8L. Will the T56 work with all the same components (clutch pedals, cables, brake booster, etc.) as the NV3500 uses? If anyone has any info or tricks/hints let me know!
  5. Spares are over rated, i only bring it on trips out of town. Every pound lighter helps!
  6. I recently installed the 1/4'' wheel spacers, but they arnt even noticeable. Has anyone tried the 1.0'' bolt-on wheel spacers? I want a wider stance but love the factory SS rims.
  7. I put 1/4'' wheel spacers on my SS and theres still tons of stud. It's hard to notice i even have them on there. If you want something noticeable I would go with 1.0'' wheel spacers, the ones that bolt on. I dont know if they would make the tires rub tho? People say spacers are hard on front end components, but i have 2.0'' bolt-on wheel spacers on my 2004 Silverado Z71 (winter truck) with 33'' tires and have never had any wheel bearing or front end issues.
  8. I have the sport Corsa system. I recently changed out the corsa dual tip for a 3.5'' in / 4.5'' out rolled edge tip, its made for diesels but it took the raspy air tearing sound away. Problem solved!

  12. I have longtube headers, no cats, into a corsa system. I'm a fan of being super loud & my truck sounds perfect, but honestly its louder than a nascar! Will a resonator quiet it down? And which one will work best and sound best. Eric
  13. No havnt tuned it yet, gota get my e-fans in 1st! Eric
  14. Ok thanks boys, put a set of AcDelco Iridium plugs with 0.040 gap. Shes way smoother now & exhaust sounds cleaner too! Someone on the forums told me to run the wider gap but i guess it must need a tune or something to run 0.060? Eric
  15. I installed OBX longtube headers with no cats into the Corsa catback system, full 3" all the way. My question is how can i make this exhaust sound better? Resonator? Or because the Corsa is designed to be used with stock manifolds & cats, should i swap out the Corsa for a different muffler? I dont mind how loud it is, it just makes a poppy echo sound.... Give me some ideas please! Eric
  16. I recently put longtube headers with no cats, full 3" exhaust piping into the corsa catback system. I also put NGK TR55 spark plugs (0.060 gap) with 10.3mm Taylor race wires. My SS is misfiring at WOT, the engine light has come on blinking once. Is this caused by the 0.060 gap? I heard it would retard the timing, but is this my issue? it calls for a 0.040. Eric
  17. It says the gap is .055, is that fine? I thought the lq9 should have .040 gap? Eric
  18. Right on thanks! 'Blown 346' Just ordered a set of the tr55 with 10.4mm taylor pro race wires!
  19. Ya i will check out the tbss site thanks! Eric
  20. Here's a picture of what i want:
  21. Any idea what the part # is for the ngk tr55?
