Bump, Im looking for simaliar info, how do I tell if my 5.3 has been swapped for a 6.0?

Can I keep the fog lights with the SS bumper or are the air damms in the way? right now I need a set of winter wheels and tires and an EXHAUST!

STG, yes its 4x4 (z71) , I like the flares but the steps may go.

The Gallery trick worked,thanks!. I know it came with a 5.3 but its done so "right" and even the plastic on the motor says " vortec 6000" and it pulls like a 6.0. I'll ad some pics to the album tommorrow

How do I reduce my pic size so that I can post them? I,m hopin its a 6.0 , it feels like it , Ive had both the 5.3 and a 6.0 in a HD1500. they pull differant. PLEASE HELP with the pics

Hello silverado Peeps, Short story as to how I got here. Been a chevy guy forever , but had been in a ford for the last five years. that ended first week of Oct when my loyal red Pick up was totaled and I needed to find a replacement. I searched and searched for the truck I wanted this time , a RCSB CHEVY , I had looked at a bunch and had it down to an 05 with 49k , I was going to put a deposit on it when my son(25) sent me a ad for an 04 w/64k , it was an hour away ( southington CT) So instead of putting the deposit on the 05 ,I went to look at the 04. It was cleaner then the 05 and had a few more options ...............................BUT it also had SS badges everywhere, doors,tailgate,headrests,dash board. 20' wheels but I know there were no rcsb ss trucks made , but the truck was clean and i liked it so ,it now sits in my driveway. My questions are many but the first one is , I think this thing has a 6.0 in it , is that possible? and does anyone recognize this truck? have any insite on how it got this way? Well , i cant figure out how to get the pics up, telling me files to big , any help there?
