We'll I'm getting The stock Fog Lights to put on my SS. Got them ordered and should be in a few days. I know many people don't like it when others do this but I'm a big fan of lights and I love the look that fog lights give these trucks from everything I have seen. Going with the stock kit but I'm throwing in HID's to match my headlights. And having them professionally done so there's no if ands or buts lol. Anyone else put fogs on there SS and what do you think?

I have a spot on my passenger side cladding before the back wheel where the dealership touched up a spot and it's like that too. Please let me know what works for you

If he changes to an aftermarket radio he can't use the controls anyway. They make a connector for that but for $100 just to use my wheel controls I didn't feel the need to use them that bad

90zxdriver A couple days before I had it buffed and Xzylon put on the paint. And then me and my girlfriend washed it up again the day before Prom lol gotta be proud of what your driving on that day! Sense yours was in '03 that woulda been cool to take a Brand new SS off the lot!!!! You for sure would have been a BAMF then lol

Wondered if the previous owner of my truck is on here. I found it in the quad cities and it had been traded into Eriksen Chevy. It's 03 black awd with corsa, kinda reddish window vents and Silverado SS across the windshield. It had right around 100k miles on it. Small tear in driver seat (it's been fixed) little scuff on driver side rear around tail light (very small) any info let me know. Be sweet to talk to the old owner

Thanks guys. I wish I didn't drive mine in the winter. I plan on once I get into college and definetly after college getting me a different cheap truck so I can keep the SS in the garage during winter. I don't know about you guys but this is the truck I've always wanted and I'm 99% sure I'll die with it lol

Finally got a good buff job and a coat of Xzylon on the paint. Do you guys do anything special to break your SS out for summer?

Even the new Cheyenne concept doesn't look that good. But atleast it should help keep the value of our trucks up a bit

My last truck was '00 silverado step side with the 5.3 it had long tubes headers no cats no muffler and dual 3inch straight pipe all the way back. That SOB was loud.... Pretty sure it had glass packs also

I agree about the new ones the side of them reminds me of a Colorado..... I just got my SS in December with 100k even on it and I've loved every second of it. Don't think I'll ever let it go

Blown I'm having them professionally done because my truck doesn't have any wiring hidden at all so they have to run the wiring and they witch up threw my dash. Also with baseball and planting season its hard for me to find the time Lol
With the HID's when you take a picture of them they always come out looking different. I have 12k and they really arnt that blue but more white until you take a picture if them and they look nothing like in person
