Wondered if the previous owner of my truck is on here. I found it in the quad cities and it had been traded into Eriksen Chevy. It's 03 black awd with corsa, kinda reddish window vents and Silverado SS across the windshield. It had right around 100k miles on it. Small tear in driver seat (it's been fixed) little scuff on driver side rear around tail light (very small) any info let me know. Be sweet to talk to the old owner

Thanks guys. I wish I didn't drive mine in the winter. I plan on once I get into college and definetly after college getting me a different cheap truck so I can keep the SS in the garage during winter. I don't know about you guys but this is the truck I've always wanted and I'm 99% sure I'll die with it lol

Finally got a good buff job and a coat of Xzylon on the paint. Do you guys do anything special to break your SS out for summer?

Even the new Cheyenne concept doesn't look that good. But atleast it should help keep the value of our trucks up a bit

My last truck was '00 silverado step side with the 5.3 it had long tubes headers no cats no muffler and dual 3inch straight pipe all the way back. That SOB was loud.... Pretty sure it had glass packs also

I agree about the new ones the side of them reminds me of a Colorado..... I just got my SS in December with 100k even on it and I've loved every second of it. Don't think I'll ever let it go

Their both on eBay and about $75 for ether one. Are your lenses pealing? Or is that just a reflection?

I found them on eBay and their the same price as the others I'm looking at. That the thing I like about the clear lense is it won't draw attention for them being tinted. I'll have to do some decision making on which ones I like better

I do like my stocks no doubt about it. I just like these because they are black but not murdered and the red stocks stick out like a sore thumb on my black SS.

Good to know. It's pretty clean and shiny so I was thinking it was new and not the right one. Thanks bud! Btw I saw your from Avon Indiana I'm only a few hours away in illinois if you guys ever get any SS meets

I think mine is the sport as we'll? Mine has the throaty boat thru haul exhaust sound to it like the sport does. Also wish I knew what muffler was on it because it looks fairly new and I bet the old owner took off the other muffler before he traded it

Good looking truck man! What kind do corsas do you have? I have the same corsa tip. Just not sure exactly which one it is sense it was already on when I bought it

LOL.. In my DD I look like a dirt poor redneck in my 1989 chevy Ext cab with a rebuilt 305 Boat motor and marine cam, beyond rusty and fenders a flappin' haha... But in the summer time I have the ole SSS with 54k miles and not a speck of rust anywhere as well as my 2011 Yamaha stryker.. Wife has a 2006 SS impala that we take on long trips though cause the 89' only gets about 9mpg

Haha nice! Mine is an 03 102k miles with no rust at all. Upgrade from my last truck which was a '00 Stepside with rusted out rockers lol

Not gonna lie the first time I did it on my old truck my mom helped me. She's an interior decorative designer/painter so I have her to thank. But this time I remembered what she said and did the same thing and didn't mess anything up haha I did NOT want it to get on my truck. Just a little FYI I'd use a shop vac while your spraying to suck in the particles in the air. That's what I did and it really kept the particles from going anywhere but on the hitch
