We had an bit of an ice storm so I let it idle for a while this morning... also did all 35-45mph driving... sat int he truck while the finace' shopped for shoes for upcoming wedding... all idling... seems to be coming back up... I will be happy with 14;s...

James from south east Michigan here.. I will be on the site a ton. I do all kinds of lighting goodies mods... have all the LEDs to swap out as much as I can as fast as I can! I picked up a 2003 Silverado SS sight unseen 127.5k on the odometer... shipped in from New York. Little upset with seller as the rockers are rotted but rest looks good. Goes in for side window and windshield tint tomorrow. Hopefully get it up on the hoist at the faimly repair shop and get them to change the oil as it is black as hell and says 4% oil life left.... Will have them check all fluids and overlook the whole truck. It needs brakes, very spongy and slight vibration, was reading up on some upgrades already. Welcome PM's or links to these upgrades if your so inclined! Look forward to chatting more and hopefully being a great addition to the site! Here she is... This annoys me... need to remove ASAP Friend helped with a few mods today... LED DRL's... not happy with look when off so will be switching these out, have a few other sets that look less LED when off... Also dropped in some 55w 6000k HID's in low (ordered the 4-high kit as I think it will be cleaner). Due to glare and feedback I ordered a retrtofit setup to do these, prolly be done within two weeks since I am off on disability... Buddy also helped me since I can't do much which sucks, damn back surgery... Protection for Michigan salt... AVH-X4500BT from car I sold.... Bose had issues before I did the swap.. I think the amp is going out...certain speakers work certain do not, was same before the swap. Is this a common failure mode for the BOSE amp? Had to demo the video... whats better then some Caddy Shack!!! All the hardware is installed for pioneer APP radio to work with the iPhone 5s, just waiting on the VGA cable and the lightning cable extension to keep it super clean... more to come. Ordering a Volant intake along with the ram air tube.... Still on the fence on going with the Corsa exhaust or just doing a Flowmaster 40 series as i always loved that sound.... Will be looking for tune suggestions if my buddy doesn't have a GM development module in his stash that we could just do the tune ourselves with... Also noticed it had air bag assist levelers for towing, bonus there! Will post more when I get more done!
