  1. Well I bit the bullet and bought a new Sierra Denali so I'm going to sell some of my truck mods before I put the SS up for sale. I just installed a brand new RPM Stage VI transmission along with a Circle D 3-3200 converter and willing to cut anyone in the NC area a great deal. I'll take $1500 for it along with a stock working transmission that doesn't have issues plus the buyer deals with swapping transmissions between trucks. This tranny has not been raced or beat on what so ever! I'm located in New Bern, NC... center of the state near the coast. Here's a picture of the tranny just before it was installed about 3 weeks ago.
  2. Ok I finally got all my issues sorted out. In case anyone else tries this in the future since the original how to write up didn't mention this... For best results, the purple/white tach wire from the Viper unit needs to be wired to the purple/white tach wire on the DLPK GM. In your Viper module programming, set it to voltage sensing, then adjust your idle time to whatever you want it to be. After that, ensure you follow the Viper instructions on how to do a tach learn not the virtual tach and you'll be good to go. Note: If you run into problems of your DLPK GM not programming to the truck, leave connector 2 connected then follow the rest of the instructions and it'll work great. When I followed the instructions how they were written, the LED light would go out as soon as I plugged in connector 2 and not allow the learning process to proceed. DLPK GM Connector 2 Wiring: 1. Purple to OBDII 2. Pink tied into GM-12 harness for ignition wiring 3. Purple/White Tach to Viper Purple/White Tach
  3. It's just down the road from me. Super tempting.
  4. Price reduced to $250 shipped. Price reduced to $250 shipped.
  5. I have the intake manifold off my 2004 Silverado SS up for sale due to upgrading to a different one. The intake manifold is complete with the fuel rails, injectors, and throttle body. $200 shipped and paypaled for everything.
  6. Make an offer if anyone is interested.
  7. They're 2.5" in with 3" out.
  8. No sorry I didn't make any clips. It's made by Borla and sounded pretty much identical to the borla system I had on my old TBSS. I'm in New Bern... Center of the state next to the coast.
  9. I have a slightly used GMPP catback I no longer need due to getting a good deal on a B&B system. This was only on the truck for roughly 3K miles and believe it's supposed to be the touring model but not sure. The B&B has a louder idle but this GMPP is louder under throttle. The front pipes were damaged when I got the kit but was able to have the stock pipes slightly modified to fit it with no issues. $375 shipped and paypaled. Here's inside the muffler when it was new.
  10. Looking for a used set of American Racing, Dynatech, etc headers that match up to the SS factory style exhaust and has cats.
  11. It def won't work with Corsa. I have the GMPP and also doesn't work.
  12. I have a new in box DJM Rear Swaybar kit that I no longer need. They were mocked up but did not work with my aftermarket exhaust so they need a new home. $200 shipped and paypaled. First time selling on here but lots of feedback on performance trucks under the same username and 450+ on ebay under 1X1MTB.
  13. You could also do Efans or TBSS/NNBS intake for that price range.
  14. Take a look at http://www.pinkbike.com. There's always some great deals on used rides there.
  15. Nice!! I'll be installing my Stage 6 this week!
  16. If he get's a tune, you're toast without spending some cheese! A converter is fairly cheap and will help out though.
  17. I've got a leer fiberglass one that's paint matched and really like it but I'll be taking it off fairly soon just to change things up a bit... Looking to ride without a tonneau for a while.
  18. The spokes being woven like this are supposed to make the wheel stiffer/stronger but I had them done mainly for looks. A shop out of Arizona built them. Stan's rims with Chris King hubs for the win! Love the sound of king hubs terrorizing the trails! Lol Yes my crank arms are carbon fiber. I have a lot of single track with little rocks so they aren't an issue. I do have arm protectors on to reduce scratches and rubber boots at the pedals to help with smacking the occasional log or rock. Disc brakes are the only way to go now and wouldn't even bother with a bike with rim brakes anymore.... They just aren't very safe unless you're riding somewhere fairly flat. My Shimano XTR's are the best I've ever used (even over the really expensive Formula brakes I've had before). My bike is super light and comes in right at 16.5lbs as pictured. I could make it lighter swapping out the wheels for a carbon fiber set but no way I'm spending that much of wheels... Already have a ton of money in it already.
  19. Thanks! I've had many different flavors over the years but got talked into trying the full rigid single speed last year by a friend and am now hooked! The full suspension stuff I've had made things too easy lol
