  1. no problem. great guy, talk to him almost on a daily basis. definitely worth the wait for a tune. gotta be patient with him though he is very busy, and sometimes hard to get a hold of him. best way to contact him honestly is just to call. if he doesn't answer don't leave a message just wait a bit and call again, he wont get mad. this is what he will ask you to do just keep calling till you finally get him. sometimes he gets so busy he forgets to call back the numbers that he missed so just wait a while and call again. until he knows you and has your number in his phone he wont always call back.

  2. I personally think the SSS is a very special truck whether it was to ever be a collector item or not. Call me crazy but I would not trade mine even if the offer for the new Camaro was a even trade. I love how much people admire my truck, and people still think its a newer model truck. You just don't see many of them any more especially ones in good condition, and I think its something to hold onto.

  3. if your still looking for a tuner I might be a little farther than you want to come but im in Memphis and can help you out. I use hp tuners and do data log tuning for Zippy for people in my area. Zippy is very reputable on this site.

  4. Been too busy working and living life to wash mine for a month! I usually wash it at least once a week. Finally found the time yesterday and damn she looks good! Pic coming soon.

yea ive been in that situation so much lately ive had to result to taken it to the drive through car wash. I hate not having time to do a good hand washing, but the drive through was is better than rolling dirty!

  5. So guys I'm just curious how many of you this happens to. Not that I'm bragging or complaining cuz I love it, lol. But I seriously don't go less than 5 days a week without someone stopping me to compliment me on my truck. Whether it be at the gas station while pumping gas cuz I usually leave it running and most of the time it draws attention from it loping and it gets compliments from the cam sound. Or while I'm at a red light and the person next to me is yelling over my loud exhaust about how nice my truck is or how awesome it sounds. Like today, I didn't even make it off the street my work was on and I was at the red light with the windows up and guy next to me is waving to roll the window down so I do, and he is just in drool saying man that is a beautiful truck and it sounds great. Its a great feeling to have a truck that's fixing to be 12 years old and at a minimum of 5 out of 7 days a week someone somewhere stops me to say something about it. Then it helps me out since I do data log tuning through Zippy I've got there attention so now I get to give them one of my business cards, lol

  6. Thanks Brandon, but Honestly I have to give all the credit to Zippy on this one. I called him one day and asked what heads, injectors, fuel system, etc. and he basically told me what to buy! I'll say it again in case anyone missed it, dude's the best tuner anywhere IMO and really great to work with.

couldn't agree more, he has helped me with everything on my build. I talk to him pretty much every day, lol. He is an awesome guy and a great tuner. I even do email tunes through him for many people in my area. He always has an answer for whatever I have to ask him about my current build. congrats on the times. I hope to be there soon!

  7. thanks, got the stall in Monday night. Im loving it! Man what a difference. Should of done this a long time ago. Going to test and tune tomorrow right after work. I'll post my new times when I get home.

Just an FYI, I did the same thing and went with Chris's recommendation for stall on mine and he over shot it by a very large amount - ordered a 2800 and ended up being 3700 + Other than that, the performance of the converter was really good. I would just recommend double checking with him to make sure he gets it right

    Nice run too btw!

  8. I'm hoping to make it to one of these soon myself. I run NT05 315/35R20's in the rear and 275/40R20's in the front and will soon be switching to 315/35R20 NT05R's because as much as I love burnouts I need a bit more sticky. If you're power level isn't massive though I would recommend checking into the Hankook ST or also listed as RH06 depending on where you buy them. They have a high speed rating with a load rating as high or higher than factory which is important depending on the tire store will be a big deal. I ran those tires for years and with the suspension working in your favor you can get very good 60' times out of it.

the rh06 is what I run zippy, I really like them

  9. Hey everyone, just got home from the local St. Jude event held at one of our 1/8th mile strips. I haven't been to the track in quit a while, in fact I haven't been at all since I put the new engine in back in march. Well I never pay attention to what a good 1/8th mile number is for my combination of mods. So looking for some input on how yall think I did. Gonna be hitting up the 1/4 strip next week but for now I definitely wanted to donate and participate in the annual St. Jude event. And before I get the responses I know I will get of " you need a stall " lol trust me I know. And its sitting in the living room floor, just came in Wednesday. Just been working all week and didn't get to put it in before tonight. mods are in sig, so let me know what you think of how the truck did.
