so just curious. other than the obvious computer controlled vs non computer, what would be the bonus or drawbacks by going to a 4L60 (aka 700r4) vs the 4L60e? was just brainstorming and it had gone through my head..thanks

its been a couple of hundred so i'm guessing its going to be something worse..

about 140,000. whats a good way to fix it? and i forgot to mention that it doesn't act up taking off from a light or any other gear. launches good when stomped on from a stop.

HEY NEWBIE HERE!! my 2003 ss AWD just started this weird shifting just recently. shortly after replacing a battery. when going from 1-2 and from 2-3 it revs up about 500 rpms and then drops into gear. doesn't seem to be slipping but not positive. checked fluid when it had started and it was just out of the hash mark area. toppped it off and doesn't seem to be any better. doesn't act so bad when its cold out. gauge doesn't come off 100 for trans temp either. thanks
