I was wondering what was your guys WOT timing around 9psi with 93 octane with LQ9 engine?

I have no e85 in my area but I can get 93 octane from BP, My goal was 10psi boost -

sounds like im going to run factory heads for daily driving thanks -
I'm building my lq9 and I have a set of (ls6) 243 cast heads ready to be put on for 10:9.1 compression then I decided to boost and bought a trick turbo kit is this possible with that compression, I will be running ls9 head gaskets and head studs?

Also update on block its at machine shop getting new cam bearings and polishing crank and replacing any other bearings needed

should i use convential of synthetic my plan is to run mobile 1 after the first oil change but for the first oil change should i run a convential 5w-30 or does it matter

Have a question when installing this comp cam what type of oil should I apply on the cam bearings and cam when installing it along with new lifters should I just soak them in 5w-30 and at first start up what would be the best oil to run for the first few 100 miles while cam and lifters are breaking in

Yes I have always wanted a SS but never could afford one so this truck is paid for and if i can get the power of an SS ill be happy

finally had one day of no rain to wash it its a work in progress, its a 2000 1500 z71 LT ECSB with 5.3l 250k motor runs strong with 60psi oil pressure the original transmission went out about 6k ago I have now a replacement stage 1 tranny from cirtified tranmission called the road ripper 1000 suppost to hold up to 150+ more power unsure of the inernals stronger clutch backs different pressures and shift kit from what they told me. Mods Already Done -Leveling kit up front -2in. rear blocks -16" dick cepek wheels -305/70/16 33.50" tire Exterior plans this summer -new cab corners -new front valance -2in. body lift and HD bumper and Grille to match HD hood -rhino line front and rear bumper and buttom off truck -remove all moldings and emblems replace with like a vortec max emblem or something

Things I ordered last Friday from T-S.com 243 heads and comp cam adjustable pushrod checker and ls7 lifters and comp cam came yesterday

Got alot done today by looking at the cam bearings I think im going to put some new durabonds in
