  1. Alright, dropped everything off at the painters. I'll be picking them up here in a bit.. going to be a long wait since I am impatient lol.. Also, wanted to toss out a big thanks to Chevyman57. He helped me out big time with his reproduction brake ducts/vents for the front bumper. I'll be tossing up a review with pictures of them here in a bit (once they actually upload) for everyone to see.
  2. Appreciate the comments. The build thread is here: http://www.355nation.net/forum/projects-build/55133-project-blueprint-combining-styles-something-unique-11-26-13-a-1.html Right now, I have everything apart and sitting in the garage. I'll be taking it over to paint when I get home from work tonight. I should have everything back by the 19th/20th hopefully. I will have more updates tonight.
  3. Just to let you guys in on some progress... Had a little time this afternoon and the weather was nice so I started working. Lined everything up on the truck so that I could weld in the notches I made on the corners of the bumpers. Also marked what I needed to cut off to weld in the center lower bar. Logan wanted to come out and help... Everything back off the truck and tacked up together... On the truck to test fit And lastly, back off and in the garage so that I can pull the cover and finish up the welds from the inside to strengthen everything. Also need to modify the sides one day with the cover on the truck. Need to make sure they line up well with the side skirts.
  4. Yes they do. I've only seen the full-size guys run them due to their width and offset, so I had to try. Took a bit of work to get them to fit, but it was worth it. If you guys want a link to the build thread I have going Ill post the link. Its somewhere between 60 and 70 pages long though lol...
  5. Yes, titans are on the truck right now for the winter. The set on the wallnare 20x9.5 BBS RD6 rims that came off a Toyota tundra, 2003 or 2006, though I can't remember. They were part of a package that came from Toyota for a few years.
  6. Well, I joined due to my search for parts honestly, but I also love these trucks... So I have lurked the forum just looking at pictures... My name's Boyd and I have an SS... bumper. Decided to build one to fit my Colorado. Getting closer each day, but it's a slow process that has been brought to a halt at the moment due to the need for the brake ducts. Anyway, hello and good day. Here is a photo of the truck in it's current state of repair/build/construction.
  7. Found this as I am in the same boat. Spoke with the guy a couple weeks ago as I am working a Silverado SS bumper to fit my Colorado. To the point in the build that I need those vents and attempted to contact him as well, but nothing. Hope everything works out for you guys. If anyone has some they are looking to part with (a pair) then I am listening. Chevyman57, I sent you a pm about your set, but understand if you want to hold onto them based on your previous posts.
