  1. So I bought my first Chevy which is a 2003 SS. One owner 65k miles and I keep getting check engine lights for 02 sensors. First p0151 then p137 and with those they also threw p0101. Is this a common chevy or SS issue. The truck is all stock. I know these go out or get dirty and what not. Just getting annoying.

  2. I'm getting a p0151 error code and P0101. I scanned them and know what they mean just curious if anyone has had these and what their actual issue was. Should I just replace that O2 sensor? I'm new to having an SS so not sure if this is kinda common. Would appreciate any input if you've had these pop up.

  3. Never owned a vehicle with onstar and looking at stereo stuff for my truck. You only have onstar if you have the blue button on the mirror right? I have a 2003 SS and its asking about if I have it or not or have it with the Bose system.

  4. I have a stock 2003 SS and has the stock exhaust. I looked under there real quick and looks like it is one pipe that splits into 2 in and out of the stock muffler then back to one at the tip. What size pipe is that? 3"? I'm looking to put a Borla XR-1 on my truck and need to know the correct size. Thanks. Looked around a bit but couldn't find size just exhaust systems people have used.

  5. So I'm thinking about getting a set of pacesetter headers. Not sure if I'm getting coated or not but I'm new to having an SS truck and parts and working on a motor besides simple CAI. So if I buy these what else do I need? A Y pipe? And is this all bolt on or is their welding involved? I have a 2003 SS Silverado with all stock exhaust. Any help and info would be appreciated.

  6. Ya the XR-1 is the specific muffler by borla. Last I checked it runs about $130ish? If you go with BlackBear or zippy for tunes there's nothing to worry about. They're highly experienced and do great work

Ok cool so just swap out mufflers. Easy enough. With that air raid tube do I keep the stock filter or just get whatever aftermarket filter that fits oem I want?

  7. For intake, it's dyno proven that just the Airaid tube on the stock box preformed identical to the best cold air intake (which I forget what brand was the top). And its only $100. Borla xr-1 is a fantastic muffler & will prolly be my next if I change. As Per tuners, don't get the canned tune bs, they're junk. Do a custom tune with BlackBear or zippy. Can't go wrong

Welcome from nj and clean truck!

Thanks everyone. I'll look into the tube and for that muffler is that actually just the muffler and not a whole kit? And those tunes are probably not a huge deal but they worry me for some reason like something is gonna happen or go wrong haha.

Tune,CAI and Long tubes. Good gains for the money.

Any brand long tubes you recommend and are those a bish to put on?
