was wondering what ur guys opinion on fuel tank/injector cleaners from automotive store? Ive done plugs and wires and fluids and 03 ss has 138,000 miles and an arizona ss. Thanks for your input guys.... ive heard good and bad things about cleaners and thought ss fourm would be good feedback for our 6.0 high output. Also another quick questions, i bought ss from father and he was outting 87 octane in truck, im running 91 now but think there is gunna be any problems from 87? Sounds and runs strong so thinking im good...?.. thnx again guys

I saw that tip when googled problem and my ss did that, swapped sensor and works now, thanks guys.... man that was tight fit for my hands but swapped now

Just bought bone stock ss from father with 133,000 miles. He has always had regular oil in engine but I wanted to use full synthetic and bought Mobil one. I didn't notice the oil pressure gauge before oil change but dad said reads 40ish at idle. But now as soon as startup the gauge goes to 80 and never drops. Is this normal for ffull synthetic or is the oil pressure sensor bad maybe? Any help would be appreciated guys,thnx

I'll definitely post some pics when I grab it and more later on. I'm looking at air intake for sure ( and suggestions on best brand) and was thinking of anything to keep that trans cool.... he has flushed 3 times so far and never needed replace so wanna keep eye on that.... prob exhaust to help breath aslo,anand headers but also heard horror stories about leaks ( not on ss but in general ) guess u get what u pay for go better to spend little more up front... at what point in add on do I need to have truck programmed ,not sure. ..Thnx guys

I am about to buy 2003 ss from my father that he has owned since day one. He bought the last showroom model before the 2004 arrived and has done reg. schedule maintenace on it and currently at 129,000 and im stoked! As i was growing up i always planned mods for it if was my truck but pops kept completly stock. I am snagging it in two weeks when he moves outta state and planning to trick it out. I paint cars so thats the first thing is refresh the black beauty and then the seats and stereo! Glad i found this site and glad to see alot helpful guys on here....
