Sweet thanks man i found a used one just wanted to make sure before dropping money

I recently toasted the t case in my ss and the ole fella that does my rebuilding doesn't think its rebuildable. I found one online at a scrape yard for a cadillac but when i called the guy looked it up and said it wouldn't fit can anyone help me out here. I thought it was the same one.
