  1. I have a low mileage 2004 with 20" flawless chrome reps and am looking for a set of flawless silver OEM wheels. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
  2. Sold! Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
  3. FOR SALE: GM Silverado SS Hitch Cover Not sure of the GM part number as I could not find it for sale by GM anymore, but I bought this from the GM mall online so I'm sure its genuine GM. $30 + Shipping To You
  4. Mack what's pushing your SSS? Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
  5. Spotted Black SSS affixed with PA registraion "12SECS" being towed on car carrier by white Chevy Van from Numidia Dragway (Numidia / Catawissa, PA) on State Route 42. I passed you in my black SSS affixed with PA registraion "SLVRD SS". Would love to know how your truck ran!
  6. These wheels have seen one Pennsylvania winter and the chrome is pitting and separating from the alloy wheel already. I'm not really impressed with how they are holding up, was hoping OEM wheels would be more durable and polish up real nice each spring. That and I don't like the SS center caps because the font doesn't match (looks cheesy to me). I'd like to find a set of silver painted OEM wheels in great shape, if not I'll most likely throw some OEM center caps on these wheels. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
  7. jddmy, One of the first things I noticed was that the font on the SS was different. I also own a 2010 Cobalt SS, and ironically enough that is the SAME font as SS on the Cobalt! I am looking for a new set of wheels or center caps as the font does bug me (knowing that it belongs on my other car)! Thanks for your info as I think I am going to slap some OEM caps on these wheels temporarily as I am looking for a set of silver painted OEM wheels in pristine condition.
  8. Hello all hope all is well. Just removed my wheels to scrub off the winter grime and noticed that I have reproduction wheels and not OEM as I thought. I guess the center cap should have been a give-away, but I assumed that the center caps were after market on OEM wheels. Anyway, I stated this thread to separate OEM from aftermarket when it comes to OEM vs reproductions. I am assuming that I have reproductions because I have the SS centercaps, and I found MADE IN CHINA stamped on the back of my wheel. I have included some pictures that I have found around the internet to determine which centercaps / wheels are OEM and which are reps. My Center Cap: Back of Wheel: Which one of these are OEM? or Assuming that OEM wheels have a GM part number or casting number stamped on the back?
  9. Even comes with a tube of LockTite 2760. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
  10. When I replaced my factory exhaust with after market mufflers and pipes I sold my factory muffler and pipe for $600 shipped via freight. Just an FYI, but technically only after market systems are called cat back. Your selling the 'muffler and pipe' from the exhaust system. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
  11. The saga for OEM XM form a donor truck continues. Successfully installed XM receiver and intergrated into my trucks wiring harness. Head unit does not recognize XM tuner when cycling through modes with BAND function on head unit. Took the truck to the stealership to have the head unit unlocked to recognise XM tuner, no possible because I don't have an authorization code the comes with OEM XM upgrade kit ( took hardware form donor truck instead). GM tech told me "off the record" that if I get the VIN and service code sticker information from the glove box of the donor truck he may be able to unlock my truck'a head unit. I'll be emailing and PMing novahaulick. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
  12. Thanks EXGM. I'll be calling if I I cant make the parts from the novahaulic work, which arrived today. Ill be attempting to integrate them into my truck tomorrow.
  13. Thanks to novahaulic for hooking me up with all the parts from a donor truck that are in the GM 12498768 kit at a fair price!
  14. novahaulic is working on getting me parts from a donor truck, but it would not hurt to have a backup plan. Thanks EXGM. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
  15. Checked all the yards in my area with negative results. Found the XM tuner on eBay, but still need the wiring, my truck has the antenna already (onstar equipped). Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
  16. GM 12498768 I know this part number has been discontinued from GM, just wondering if anyone bought the kit and then never bothered to install it. Thanks. Would love to add XM to my SSS with OEM parts.
  17. Is this still available? Missed the eBay sale. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
  18. On this topic... I have a 2004 with the CD/AM/FM/TAPE DECK, and want to replace it with a OEM CD/AM/FM/SAT head unit because who listens to tapes and I love XM. If I buy a new old stock or rebuilt unit is all I have to do is go to the Chevy Dealer and they can unlock it to my VIN?
  19. I'm running a set of Goodyear Eagle Sport All-Season tires and I think they are great. Had these tires through all four seasons now and in the they really are a great balance of handing, wet , dry and snow traction. Couldn't tell you about long-term wear yet, but right now I'm so impressed that doesn't really matter to me. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
  20. Thanks. That's what I thought, keeping the stock MAF sensor. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
  21. Searched for a while and really did't find any big yays or nays. I just recently purchased a JET mass airflow sensor for my 2009 Colbalt SS (LNF 2.0 Turbo) because my GM one went bad (a wire broke). The JET mass airflow sensor looks IDENTICAL to the GM, except for a cute sticker JET put on theirs. I mean even the ink printing on the head plastic, numbers and all. I was wondering if anyone has an after market MAF sensor and really experienced performance gains (seat of the pants dyno, or preferably real dyno). I can't find any after market companies putting up dyno charts showing improvement over the stock MAF sensor. vs
  22. $200 via FreightCenter.com (freight broker) who got me a spot on a R&L Transport Truck, plus the $60 I spent in boxes, tape, airbags, foam peanuts, etc.
  23. Sold the factory exhaust. Thank you! Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
  24. For what's it's worth, I had a 1997 K1500 before my SSS. When the 350 L31 got tired, I built a 383 out of a L31 from the junk yard from the ground up. After the swap the truck was nice and light on its feet (it was lifted w/37's) but I finished off a tired 4L60E in 40,000mi. I'm all about the upgrade, but do your 4L65E a favor and beef it up/fix it up when you put the new, bigger engine in. OR, just put the new engine in and see how long the 4L65E lasts. 25. Sold and shipped the intake setup today. Thank you!
