  1. 6.2 Lsa. No supercharger only dyno time. Will need new head gaskets, oil pan gasket and timing cover gasket. This was a gm test motor I bought to put in my ss but changing my mind again. $4,000 pickup only for now until I figure out what I need to do to ship it. Located in northern Tennessee. I can text more photos

  2. Picked up an Lsa motor without the s/c. Motor only had dyno time. Was thinking of throwing in some forged rods and Pistons before its put in the truck since I'll be going turbo with about 800+ hp. Could I I just replace the Pistons and rods without rehoning? I know your suppose to but this motor has little to no time. You can still see the cross hatches. Just trying to avoid the machine shop as they are backed up a couple months

  3. Just added a turbo to my silverado ss. Just wondering what peoples thoughts were on what muffler they like for turbo set ups. I'll also being installing an electric exhaust cut out. Kinda wanting something that of course flows good but isn't to loud

  4. Not sure if it's really a y pipe. But other than the headers there are 3 other pipes. A crossover from driver side to passenger. Then from that another pipe over the cross member then it clamps to the stock exhaust. The passenger side only has one pipe off the header the bolts to the stock exhaust

    I can't text pics.

  5. I'm building a turbo motor for my 03 silverado ss. My goal is 800hp at the wheels. I will be doing a 4l80e swap with trans brake. but was wondering if their are any problems keeping the truck awd with that much power or if I should make it 2wd. I don't want to be rebuilding a front diff every week

  7. Starting to build my motor. Will be a boosted 408 stroker. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good fabricator that could build my exhaust system for the turbo.I live in clarksville tn so somewhere on that side of the us. I've only been able to find On3 performance to order a kit from and don't like a header on one side and stock manifold on the other. Feel free to tell me if I posted This in the wrong area

  8. Just wondering who makes the best built trans. No one around me wants to build one and the only person that will my friend has had his rebuilt 5 times by him for problems. The only good ones I found were flt or rpm transmission. Truck only has cam tune injectors and headers so I don't need a 5,000$ trans just something to hold up better than the stock one

  9. Got the truck back from the trans shop. Said that it's taking off in a lower gear he doesn't really know why and my converter isn't stalling anywhere near 3200 so it may be going out. But he flushed it new fluid and filter that fixes the tranny temp problem. But i could've done that myself. Went without my truck for a week to hear that. ? so I'll be goin somewhere else

  10. Ac in my truck isnt that great either. It gets cool but not cold. And when yiu hut the ac button/ snow flake symbol. It shuts off the compressor. And we checked all the lines. Preassure was right at what it was suppose to be

  11. I bought the truck with everything done to it and was surprised it didn't have a bigger trans cooler. But my friend who was a mechanic said it should be ok and was until it got hot. We checked the fluid it was at the right level not burnt or any material in it. But had turned clear instead of red. The fluid was bright red when I got it 8 months ago. I was about to do a fluid change at 1000,000 miles but this just started happening

  12. A couple days ago I notice my truck was really slow on the take off like it was in second gear. And the truck is starting to shift earlier than it should and takes almost full throttle to kick out of over drive. My trans has also been running about 200 degrees this week but it has also been about 98 here all week. Truck is a 03 silverado ss with 98,000 miles circle d 3200 stall converter and shift kit. Cam and tune. Any ideas? I don't want to go to a trans shop completely clueless
