Was wondering if any of you guys raced someone with a supercharged 4.3 v6? Supposed to make around 250hp and with exhaust and headers probably 280. Reason I'm asking is because I was thinking about keeping my 4.3 and just supercharging it as it would be cheaper than doing a 6.0 swap. Since I can't turn a wrench it will likely be 3-4K to get the 6.0 swap done maybe more. And since it's my daily it has to be reliable and not doing the swap right can screw me over. Just want to maybe be able to go neck and neck with an ss and not get gapped lol. And then in a few years probably get a v8 single cab and clone that as v8 to v8 engine swap is easier and I might just turbo the 5.3 which would be easier. Not looking to get 10s but would like to compete with some v8s. Opinions?

I've been trying to find a wheel that no one else has up here and I think this is it. I will be buying a set next summer.

Haven't really made any posts about my build, but maybe this will get me started. So I bought a 2003 rcsb Silverado and it has manual Windows and locks and I really need to convert them to power windows and locks. So my question is....what is the easiest way to do this? I was thinking of just buying 2 doors with the buttons from a salvage yard. Is it just going to be plug and play or am I going to have to rewrite the whole truck? Thanks in advance!
