  1. Yeah, this is a wet winter, I had power out for five days, no trees down at my house but they took out the power poles down the road.

Thats sucks on the paint, if they pay for the 2/3 you might as well get the whole thing done. Bernies Paint that painted Pauls DCM did an awesome job. Total cost was $7000. That paint pull a few small dings and replace front windsheld.

  2. I went to check out a black '96 yesturday. It has 135,000. miles on it. It has some faded paint, crack interior plastic, rip steering wheel leather and dirty ass carpet but it runs pretty damn good. They're only asking $4,900. I figure I can spend the rest of the money fixing it up.What ya'll think??

Thats not bad, as long as the engine is strong and tranny seems good, most everything else can be replaced or painted. Leatherseats.com makes awesome seatcovers, ebay has quite a few interior and exterior parts, Speedinn.com sells carpet, the LT-1 motors last long I know several guys that have over 200,000 miles on theres, trannys seem to be a problem alot of guys have had them rebuilt and we have quite a few 6-speeds out there. Interior door panels are not being repoped yet but are in the works.

I going to hang on to mine, you should be able to find a low mile stock in your area, just don't jump the gun and buy a beater, right now theres quite a few for sale.

    Post when you find one.

  4. i'm sorry to hear that as well.. his shows were cool.

but from my point of view, as a father he had a responsibility to be there for his children and to raise them.

lets see if those kids 10 years from now will say "at least he lived his life to the fullest" ??? they don't give a shit if he had "brass balls" or not.. there fatherless now because he had a death wish.. or whatever term you care to use?..

i have 2 small children and it made me a much more cautious person knowing that i'm responsible for there well being.

taking risk like that on a daily basis (even putting his child in danger)

is not a very sane or responsible decision in anyway.

IMO if you want to risk your life thats fine, as long as your single and not responsible for anyone else's.

So I guess you won't be driving on any roads in the near future if your going to be cautious, being around dangerous animals was his job and passion, such as being a Police officer or a Fireman which are always in danger but are trained in what they do, he was train and well experience in what he did, this was a freak accident, everyone of use go to our jobs everyday and could have a freak accident.
