  1. We need a drooling smiley in here. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> drool on this........ YOU ALL..have a safe and happy one.....
  2. in the CA veh. code...any vehicle left on a roadway or highway over 4 hrs. can be towed. what probley got it towed was the out dated tags. we get that a lot up here. some smuck brakes down on on the freeway and the CHP will yellow tag it and check back to see if it is moved, and if not it's towed...one for being left, and also it is concitered a hazard on the road. think what would happen if you ran into a parked car doing 80+
  3. like cats?.....cats more cats.....more cats
  4. Wow ... Sounds like you had a fun afternoon .... The biggest misconception with Miranda Rights/Warnings, is that everyone believes that they need to have been read their rights, in order for an arrest to take place. Not true. Two seperate, but equally important things must happen, before Miranda comes into to play. #1 - Custody (Physically detain you, or when the average person feels that they are no longer free to leave) #2 - Accusatory/Interogation Questioning So, If an officer witness the crime in person, He DOES NOT have to Mirandize you... ie: Disorderly, Oper. w/o Lic. etc ... Threshold Inquiry questions are ok, until you get to the point where it is no longer an Inquiry, but has now turned into a Custodial Interogation .... As for the Rest .... PM me ... BTW ... it is Miranda vs. Arizona (State) 1967 or 68.... good case to read. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> when i got arested i was not read my rights eather. even when i was booked, all i was told was what the charges were and there will be a arainment on monday, this was a fri. afternoon
  5. mine was 5050 per DMV
  6. don't know about pacesetters, but when i had my TOGs installed it took about 4 hrs. and about $425 i know there easer to install, but a week i think you need a NEW mechanic....
  7. if it's red and by the frount diff. area i would say, power steering pump or lines, or trans cooler or lines. frount diff. oil is very dark in color'... good luck
  8. mine was doing the same thing, not shifting until i let off. dealer said one of the selinoids in the trans was bad. replaced the valve body asem. and all good for past 27k
  9. You are correct. It was the tie rod. We'll see what the dealer says today. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> they will say warrenty VOID...... had 2 trucks this summer that had lift kits installed that the brake callapers were falling off. one was a 05 and one a 06 GM. towed them to a dealer for warrenty work on their road side assistence and dealer charged them for repairs, and voided the suspension warrenty. yea it sucks good luck <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm not concerned with having to pay to have it fixed. I feel good about the dealer I chose to work on my truck and I know they'll get it right. What I'm more interested in is finding out how it happened. So far, the dealer has ordered a replacement tie-rod and will have everything re-aligned the right way, something the original installer of the drop kit failed to do. They will also install the shims to remedy the pinion angle issue. Preliminary reports indicate either a "bolt failure" or "installer error" in tightening the bolt. I don't think there's any way to tell for sure. I would like to go back to the original installer and reem him a new assh@le, but I don't want to lay into him if it was a "bolt failure". I mean, how often does a bolt fail??? At any rate, I should have my truck back by Friday afternoon. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

  11. I haul a 7000 pound trailer (loaded weight) and it does fine. The stock receiver is very adequate. My weight dist. hitch doesn't do much either, I can't get the front of the truck down even with the back without wearing out balls in short order, but the sway control is great. Get a good brake controller (I love and recomend my Jordan 20/20) and you'll be fine. Greg <{POST_SNAPBACK}> mine is 6700 dry, and i had no trouble keeping the frount down, just about 1.5" differents. try setting the t bars before you put all the weight on the hitch, i hope i explained this right.... too much nose down can cause to much weight to transfer to the frount and will unload the rear tires and you could jack knife when the road is a little wet it makes it very dangerous i know it looks riding leavel going down the road but being dead is NOT cool........ good luck
  12. try here, if it will help you... HERE good luck.........
  13. Well that is interesting to hear. I wouldn't mind the extra warranty, but am more worried about fixing this noise. I haven't driven it 20 miles since the rebuild and it is terrible... time to go back to the dealer. This is the third time so I think I'll demand a new unit. Thanks for the info... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i had to get gm. cus. asst involved. they were very helpfull in getting my issues fixed.also the gm.reginal rep. also. if you have to call them, when you do . TALK NICE TO THEM... they are there to help and not take a lot of ##@&*** from people. it took about 2 weeks for them to get all info. from me and the dealer to start getting things moving, so it will take a little time.. the gm. rep showed up at the dealers with a 03 SS and i test drove it and it had no whine in the frount, so they pulled the frount assm. out from it and put it into mine, i have 31k now and still no noise good luck.........
  14. i had the same thing with my 03. had 190 mi when it was redone for the second time. finely fixed it by replaceing the hole diff. caseing was bad from the manf. and berings were out of spec. also. a lot of 03-and early 04 had issues. i have had no issues at all with it since. BTW. gm gave me a 5yr/100,000 mi. bumper to bumper 0 deductable for my troubles with it.....
  15. red neck A/C ... red neck dental care...
  16. b@@bs.. BTW... theres 19 of us looking at this right now. DAMN don't anybody work around here
  17. Well steer me right here, I'm worried that 6% isn't strong enough I mean, the instructions do say to use 50/50 seafoam-to-gas in an injector cleaning machine. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 6% will be good. the 50/50 mix is killer but your only running that mix for a short time on the machine. and the 6% is over the life of the fuel in the tank. see how it works and if you want on your next tank mix anouther 6% but i don't think you will need to.
  18. but that still will not stop a friend of a friend's sister going in to dealers parts dept. and having her give her b/f a b/j for a key........
