Hey all....newbie from KC. Looking to learn more about the Silverado SS and hopefully do some mods to 03 extended cab to emulate the SS in some areas. Pictured are some pics of my truck. The first pics is how it looked when I first got it. The rest are how it sits now. I've owned it a month or so. So far I've lowered it 3/5, debadged, demolded and done some other odds and ends. Friday I'm getting a Black Widow muffler installed. This weekend she gets tinted. Next weekend new rockers and cab corners go in. Numerous other things will follow before new paint job is applied starting in November.
So one of the main things I want to do before paint happens is the SS front end like the 06. Grill and Hood is easy because that's shared with the Silverado. I've got a hookup already handled for the front bumper cover, but have a few questions beyond that. What is the PN for the fasteners that attach the bumper cover to the bumper behind it? Is the bumper behind the cover the same as a standard Silverado or is it special in some way?
