  1. Little Johnny sure does have a sense of humor.
  2. This would be so cool to have http://www.boredstop.com/index.php?option=...4&Itemid=34
  3. I found this on another site. Thought it was pretty funny. "Twas the night before Christmas and caught at the light, Was a Supercharged Camaro and no cops in sight, I will try, I will try, I will try with this 2 liter motor, To beat this damn Camaro, even with it's big blower. As light goes to green and I pull like no joke, The Camaro erupts in clouds of tire smoke. Now Smasher, now Rev-ver, now Stroker, now Blitzin, These are the names of my four VTEC pistons. Racing ahead I'm the Star of the action, But I know I'm in trouble when that blown Camaro gets traction. Grabbing second, I hear the RPM sing, My rearview mirror is blocked by my Shopping Kart Wing. I now hear the roar, of that big monster gaining. All I can do is keep that four-banger straining. In a second, the shockwave hits with a blast, And my stickers go flying, now a thing of the past. Don't bother with third, 'cause now it's too late, Just try to act cool, like you can relate. Looking up at the taillights as they get smaller, The driver backs off just to give me a holler, "You can't win them all," he says in fling, "You may not win any in that silly thing," I scowled and I revved and let out a sigh, & did my classic trademark high speed fly-by, Then I smiled and revved as I pulled out of sight, With my new mods tomorrow, it will be a better night." Merry X-Mas you guys!
  4. Why do they call it Life insurance when you have to die for someone else to collect it? Shouldn't it be called Death Insurance?
  5. That's awesome! If we could fly, just think of all of the money we wouldn't have to spend on modding our toys
  6. The folks at Corvette Quarterly have been holding onto this vid ever since the Corvette ZR1 was trotted out at Laguna Seca in October for a hot lap. In it we get a cockpit's view of the track from inside the most powerful Corvette ever produced, but aside from the visuals, we really get rockin' to the soundtrack that features a distinct and glorious supercharger whine right at the beginning as the car's leaving the pits that just can't be denied. And while the driver was taking it easy, there's plenty of tire screeching and V8 rumbling to the redline that can be heard, too. Enjoy! [source: Corvette Quarterly]
  7. The only problem with the retail side is, that you are now competing against the internet. Now days even people who aren't to savy about cars have the sources of online searching for parts and service. I have attended many seminars on network marketing. And something that I once heard a speaker say that made alot of sense is "Either your business has to be online or you will be out of business" So even if someone has a small Mom & Pop business, they need to be online with a website to generate business or they won't survive. Times have changed, and the traditional way of doing businees no longer works. Heck why even buy a car from a dealer after a test drive. When you can just go home from the comfort of your chair and find the best deal across the country and make your purchase. JMO
  8. If someone owns that car, I don't think money is a issue as far as jail, lawyers & fines As far as a police chase, forget about it. Just check to see who owns a gold Lambo in the area, and wait for them at there house Now, tell me if ANYONE on this board owned that car, wouldn't you be enjoying it too. Or would you just putt around town and park it in the garage just to say look what I have. Heck no, I would be doing the same thing as that guy is doing
  9. What? Did you really think they broke into cabins and used the toilet?
  10. Anyone here about this http://jalopnik.com/cars/breaking-news/oh-...hing-319267.php http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/News/articleId=123409 Foose Cuts Loose From Unique Performance Licensing Deal HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. — Foose Design, the customizing firm headed by well-known designer Chip Foose, has announced it has cut off its licensing deal with Texas-based Unique Performance, "effective immediately." Unique Performance was raided by police earlier this month on suspicion of "title washing" and use of illegal VINs, with some 61 cars confiscated. Unique Performance's Shelby Mustang production deal with Carroll Shelby was recently severed as well in the wake of the scandal. Unique Performance has built such vehicles as the Foose Coupe and Foose Mustang Stallion in limited quantities under the deal. Chip Foose issued a statement saying that because of his "special bond with every Foose vehicle owner," he feels "great stress to see this situation occur." The statement says Foose Design is currently considering legal action against Unique Performance. __________________
  11. Common problem on the LSx family of GM motors. I just ordered one of these for my LT1 Impala to control my blow by, because of forced induction. But this is what all of the Camaro, GTO & Corvette guy's are doing to solve the problem on there LS motors. Install a catch Can
  12. Whether everyone likes the looks or not. I think the end of the video about sums it up. You definitly would be getting alot of batch

  14. They must not be heading for coffee then, cause we don't let anything get in the way of coffee....priorities!!! LOL Don't worry Ray, if you where over here, you would have time to stop someone and still not go out of your way. Since we have Starbucks on every corner
  15. Dang Ray, I could use one if you make them. On this side of the mountains, you would have a better chance of selling crack in front of the police station, then getting harrassed for no front plate. I've seen police turn around and go way out of there way just to give someone a no plate infraction. And trust me, we have way worst problems than no plates over on this side of the mountains
  16. It's just a matter of time. The insurance company will sooner or later notify your finance company and let them know your policy has lapsed. Like others have said you should really sit down with family members and seek help. I would just hate to see a young mature responsible person of your age, starting out your long awaited future getting into financial troubles. At 20 years old you will have many more toys to enjoy if you take care of your immediate short term situation. Just have faith and do the right thing, and in the long run it will work out. Wish you the best
  17. His third question is just a stupid has the whole post First off, Jay, stay out of this. Ok. I didn't want to mention it but I was thinking about turbo charging my Vette. I got to thinking about it and how in efficient even turbos are (compressor efficiencies of about 80% at best). Since a turbo's function is to pressurize incoming air and force it into the upper motor, and turbos are driven by high pressure exhaust gas created from the combustion process, couldn't I just bypass the turbo altogether and route my headers back into the throttle bodies? Since I have CFI, I could balance the DEI (direct exhaust injection as I just coined it) by feeding one header into each throttle body. Yes, the charge air wouldn’t be that cold, but it would be under a hell of a lot more pressure. I attached a quick sketch below: There are still a few things I need to work out: 1) How do I get the CFI aircleaner to fit in a way that hides this plumbing? 2) Does anyone make a V-band clamp that will bolt an exhaust header to a CFI throttle body? 3) What pinion angle should I use in my rear-end? I’m sure there will be a noticeable difference in torque output. What do you guys think?
  18. Yep I'm here. About 30 minutes from Bremerton in Tacoma, just over the Narrows Bridge. Wizard is in Maple Valley, and SSmoothsilSS is in Olympia and there are more that I know I am forgetting.
  19. I also like Mikey, but come on..... He hangs around the shop for entertainment, and now he has nice house with a pool, new vehicles and such. While the real guy's that make that shop (Vinnie, Rick, Cody & unknown others). Barely get by from paycheck to paycheck. I guess that's the price someone has to pay when they decide to work for someone else as a employee.
