  1. Well I went to the track today after a long night of installing my wet Nitrous plate kit.. Good news and bad news... The good, the kit works great and am much happier over the dryshot that I tried a few weeks ago.. The bad, last day of the year for this track to run.. And I only had about a third of a bottle.. Went three different places this morning looking to get my bottle filled before I went to the track. No one had any or they were closed... :crying 2: So when I got to the track I turned on the bottle heater and the pressure only got up to 850 psi. So I made a pass... and it looked like this; Oh and I was running a 100 shot... 60'........2.096 330........5.684 1/8........8.693 mph......82.02 1000.....11.264 1/4.......13.448 mph......102.21 I mad two more passes on the bottle and went 2 tenths slower each time.. The bottle pressure dropped down to 650 and the bottle was reaching empty.. So I decided to make a run off the bottle and try out my Westers tune.. :thumb up: That run looked like this..; 60'........2.118 330'......5.981 1/8.......9.178 mph......76.66 1000.....11.933 1/4.......14.247 mph......97.50 I think with the bottle pressure up to about 1150 to 1200 and with a full bottle the truck would have cracked into the 12's Now I will have to wait until spring to find out when the track opens back up.. Also, I am very happy with my Westers tune, 14.2's on basically a stock truck is pretty good. Good Job Lynden and Butch.. Bill
  2. The 20's or 22's?? Here is a pic with the 22's http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=attach&section=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=25711 Bill
  3. Right now I only have 2" lowering shackles and I removed the rear blocks at the same time. I kinda wish the truck had torsion bars like my last few trucks did than I could lower the front a little real easy. Now I will need to order drop springs, and all that for the front. So to answer your question yes, I plan on lowering the truck more after the winter. Bill
  4. Well I bought a 2010 Sierra Denali about a month ago now. Didn't care for the Factory 20's all that much. So I bought some 22" Chrome Boss 330's and still wasn't really happy. So I sold them and bought a set of 24x10 Chrome 3 piece Davin wheels with 305/40/24 tires. I put them on last night and took a couple pics of them and thought I would share and get your opinions.. I pesonally really like them but everyone has different tastes and opinions. Anyway to the pics..... Bill
  5. I got rid of my 22's already and have a set of 24" Davin three piece wheels going on tonight.. Should look pretty good in my opinion. I'll post up some pics after I get them on... Bill
  6. I am selling my new 22" Chrome Boss 330's with Falken 305/40/22 tires. I had them ballanced after I got them and they are perfect now. The wheels/Tires are perfect with only about 450 miles on them now. The only reason I am selling them is because I just bought a set of 24's. My loss your gain..............Asking $1800.00 or best reasonable offer for them. I am located in Southern Maine... Thanks, Bill
  7. Thanks, It's Nice to be back to a GM product... lol I would like to do the TVS 2300 with nitrous but we will see how the funds go over the winter. Wet-shot for sure, Boost with a wet-shot would be nice.. Bill
  8. Thanks, she is AWD... I should make it to the track again before they close for the year and I will be running it N/A this time. Bill
  9. Thanks guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Converting it to a wet-shot plate system over the winter.. Will run 100-150 range and hope for some firm 12's.. Bill
  10. Looks pretty good, I have a 2010 Sierra Denali and I just lowered the rear with 2" lowering shackles and put some 22" Boss 330 wheels in chrome on it and it looks pretty good.. Bill
  11. Well I went to the track today and ran a couple runs and got a new personal best with my 2010 Sierra Denali. Mods so far are; K&N cold air intake Westers 93 hot tune 75 hp dry shot (Nitrous) 2" lowering shackels 1.5" blocks removed Rease hitch and spare tire removed 22x10 Boss wheels with 305/40/22 Falken tires Race weight with me in the truck was 5612 lbs.... runs looked like this; Run1.........................Run2........................ 60'.....2.022........................1.932.............. 330'....5.623........................5.512............. 1/8.....8.646........................8.548............. mph....81.92........................81.40............. 1000...11.216......................11.136........... 1/4.....13.396......................13.330............ mph....102.53.......................101.86.......... The track was super busy today and I only was able to make two passes. I was going to make a couple runs without spray to see the difference but after sitting in the staging lanes for over two hours each time I decided to spray both runs and then I left to head home..
  12. Jeff nice to see you still around.. I ended up trading for a brand new set of 22x10 Chrome Boss Rims and Falken tires.. Here are a couple pics and I also lowered the rear with 2" lowering shackels .. Bill
  13. All set just traded for a new set of 22's on Tuesday............... Thanks, Bill
