  1. shreveportSS, where's your tutu? or do you dress as a quaalude?

By the way, your van's on fire.

"What is this sh*t, maui wowie?

    No it's labrador.

Labrador? You mean we're smoking Dog sh*t man?

Yeah, I had my stash on the table and the little mother f****r ate it. I had to follow him around for a week with a little baggie. Really freaked him out.

    Wow, that's good sh*t."

"Up in Smoke..........That's where I..want to be....." I think it and 48hrs were the first 2 videos i ever had.

  2. Quick, Did you go down to it? Should have, you would have gotten into the top 16 automatically. I think that was stated at sometime. Don't remember exactly. Jamie got eliminated first round of the final 16. Saw the mouthy kid in the blue camaro was there.

Some little punk ford kid over on one of their boards saying his fav part was when the GN stoped the luv truck. This coming from a kid with a grand prix and old rx7 he plans to put an ls1 in. Out of his league. Even if his rx had an ls1 in it it wouldn't have beaten the luv at it's peak.

To bad they made the truck street legal before that event. Then they change their minds and don't make registered street legal a requirement.

  3. I got bored with the show. Never really watch it anymore. I've heard claims that people get labor bills on those builds. Would suck if true. Just the taxes on appraised value would be a hit to one who truely couldn't afford it.

I wonder if that mustang ever sold. That guy who complained about stuff they did when changing his wife's stang. Then amazingly it was up on ebay or some sale site. The svtperformance guys were having a fit on their site over it. They couldn't believe the guy would or could do it. Supposedly the show keeps the vehicle for months/year and take it around to shows. That was the claim.

Guess I've just gotten bored with everything. TV seems to hold less and less interest anymore. Oh man I must be old. LOL

  4. I know all about scuffing the paint. I think many would have a crying fit if they watched the process of preparing their trucks for liner.

The competition's rubberized cottage cheese was just utter crap. Removed it and went to the better product. Could have repainted but that would have gotten me nowhere. The factories just need to spray liners from the start. Would kill the drop in liner market but stagecoach makers had their day too.

  5. I gotta counterpoint to the ideas that spray-ons can never be removed. I highly doubt that. Not saying it would be easy, but I know one competitor's product can be stripped. I much prefer line-x to that other but given enough effort anything can be stripped. And yes it does dent. A 10" plumbing T can make like a big sledge hammer. But it stayed formed to the dented areas.

  6. gotta love that, "These guys are being flexible"

Really wish they'd just run heads up 1 shot deal. Your gonna atleast force one of them to put everything into it. To answer Rich's usual statement "I really wanna see what these ____ can do"

But he likes his 3of5 set so 3of5 heads up with whatever ya got.

My bro had an idea they should just anounce a track and day. Those willing show up look over all others who show up willing. Get 2 who want the other guy's ride and think they can take it. There ya go, your either right or your wrong. a single show could have 2 or 3 lost cars.

These ideas are just spitting in the wind to speed. They're too busy dry humping nascar's leg.

  7. I think they're doing the last filming for the next season tomorrow night in texas. I hope we win again. :driving:

According to this week's pinks radio they were gonna try to get them to race the s-10 next but not after big boy landed on the windshield. Looks like they had the touch that night... probably would have taken home the truck too.

  8. oops... didn't really catch the beginning first time... my goof... thought it was the stang's race that didn't happen not the other way round...

nice quick car guys... do think you were being railroaded the last race... "negotiations" anymore are basically do whatever whim rich has at that moment.... funny he was all for giving a load of lengths to them but just last week was it he was not letting the crappy car negotiate length...

not that it would have helped anyway in that one but its just looking like a string pulling to me.... and inconsistant...

  9. Congrats on the win.:driving: Must be atleast mid september to air cause they don't list it in the schedule yet. If you are the season ender i'd figure even later than that.

    Truck racing this week.

"It's a valiant display of sportsmanship and fast trucks when Dewayne Jacobs (1968 chevy pick-up) and Chris Sullivan (1981 chevy LUV) push the competition to the limit" - quote from schedule listing.
