    Thanx for the info Brewz! I'm kinda hesitant to deal with Hall Chevy for anything because, they tried to screw me on a deal for the '05 SSS YOU ended up buyng from them! I know you obviously have had good luck with them, but it helps that you have connections at that dealership. I'll give Sharon a call...maybe their body shop is run by better people than the showroom!

     

    Sorry to hear that, I guess after buying 12 new vehicles from them, they treat you a little different, next time your looking, let me know I'll introduce you to Lou, outstanding guy, he makes his money on repeat buyers, he knows how to treat customers. :thumbs: For the window tint, like I said, his name is Chris, outstanding work, if you call him let him know your a friend of mine, he'll take care of you.     Hey, merry Xmas, well when it comes down to paint and body work, I have my friends at Hall Chevrolet do it, talk to Sharon, she is the body shop manager, they are currently doing my cowl hood. As for audio, you might want to try Premier Auto sound, Western branch Blvd, Chesapeake, (757) 484-6822 thy also do window tinting. But I have a good friend Chris who owns Extreme window tinting, they are located by Military and Greenbrier, he has done all of my rides and currently my new '07 Monte. Hope that helps.

    I contacted the seller Glenn he said he is going to put the orders in after thanksgiving.  Is it going to take another two weeks after he puts the order in?  I guess I will call him on this.

     

    I have also contacted Glen, he stated that we are looking at the first week in Dec. Sooner for the members who are picking up their hoods at the warehouse.

    Just read the other day on Jayski.com that Chevrolets "Car of Tomorrow" for NASCAR is going to be an Impala SS, and that Chevrolet may be doing away with the street Monte again as soon as '08. My wife loves the newest Monte SS as well, and was considering trading her Tahoe on one. It was either that, the Impala SS or a TBSS, but the TBSS gets terrible gas milage. How does the Monte SS do on gas?

     

    It gets unbelievable mileage, we head up to long Island a lot and if you put it in cruise control you can get up to 30-36 mpg, thanks to the DOD, displacement on demand, and you refuel it with regular gas, 87 octane!! :thumbs:
