  9. Need Help On Replacing 2 Front Wheel Studs!

    Undo the axle nut (36mm I believe) Then undo the 3 bolts that hold the hub to the spindle. Once the hub is loose from the spindle you should have enough room to put the new wheel studs through the hub. Reinstall hub to spindle. Use washers and a wheel nut turned over (upside down) to pull the stud into the hub. Reinstall axle nut (150 lbs ft torque @least)

     

    Cliff notes version, but hope this helps Jeremy :thumbs:

     

    You'll need to remove the caliper and rotor to gain access to the hub assembly...my bad for not including this

    I will try and get my photos up this weekend. I really did have a great time. Maybe next time Joe could raffle off a ride in the Vette...I know Bob would buy a ticket! :jester:

     

    Yes, I do recall that conversation, but I was thinking SSS not ZO6...Did I tell you that...YOU SUCK...I can't remember if I told you that or not. Memory just isn't what it used to be :jester:

    A WOMAN'S STORY

     

    I had lunch with 2 of my unmarried friends.

     

    One is engaged, one is a mistress, and of course I have been married for 20+ years.

    We were chatting about our relationships and decided to amaze our men by wearing a black leather bra,

    stiletto heels and a mask over our eyes. We agreed to meet in a few days to exchange notes..

     

    Here's how it All went...

     

    My engaged friend:

    The other night when my boyfriend came over he found me with a black leather bodice, tall stilettos and a mask.

    He saw me and said, 'You are the woman of my dreams. I love you.'

    Then we made love all night long.

     

    The mistress:

     

    Me too! The other night I met my lover at his office and I was wearing the leather bodice,

    heels and mask over my eyes and a raincoat. When I opened the raincoat he didn't say a word, but we had wild sex all night.

     

    Then I had to share my story:

    When my husband came home I was wearing the leather bodice, black stockings, stilettos and a mask over my eyes.

    As soon as he came in the door and saw me he said, 'What's for dinner, Batman?'

     

     

    ...And he'll be released from the hospital next week.

    Thanks for a fun time Joe. :cheers: I know you put a lot of work into the show and I'm glad to see it paid off. It was good to meet you and Dale and your friends. Hotel was fine btw. Always good to see Brian and Alyce and the "SOB" :jester: Hopefully I'll be able to make it down again next year.

     

     

    Maybe if you are a good boy Bob I will take you for a ride..... :jester:

    Hey All,

    I have a request from a customer. His son just graduated college and has a job offer in Houston (11000 Equity Dr. Northwest Houston 77041)

    He needs info on housing. He's looking @ Jersey Village, Sugarland & Katy. Unfortunately, he hears as much good and bad about each area and needs some guidance on where to look.

    Hope you guys can give some advice. TIA.

    Trust me, I have been called an SOB more times since I purchased that car than I have ever remembered. It was priceless...the look on Brian's face (hot rod truck) when he pulled up, looked around, and asked me where my truck was.....he was standing 3 feet away from the car!

     

    I think there were a couple more "terms of endearment" I used too since I talked to you Sunday morning and you said " I'm just cruising along @ 60MPH" but since this is a family site I digress.

     

    Cool car...Congrats :cheers:

    BTW, Rob still has his SSS :chevy:

    Had a great time too. Turned out to be a nice day and a good show. Joe, don't worry about the time spent with us. We still hung out after everybody left so it's all good.

     

    Bob good to see you again and we'll be headed back to MI. if there's another Zippy event.

    Dale love the rod and primer is cool :thumbs:

    Joe, thanks for the invite. You and your crew did a great job :cheers: ...and I still won't sell you any beer :jester:
