I am going to be getting a rollpan soon and have no use for my rear bumper. I would be willing to sell it to someone. It has a couple of scratches and one of the brackets is bent a little from someone bumping into me in a parking lot one night. PM me with any offers or questions. As soon as it is taken off, I will get pictures.

I have looked into that too. Maybe I should just get rid of my water temp and get a fuel pressure gauge. An a/f gauge is pretty useless unless i have tuning software though. Thanks for the help.

The reason I want one is because I don't have any sort of logging software at all and I would rather look at a gauge when I am going 85 then look down at my computer. Thats all. I know I need some sort of logging software, but I am afraid my curiosity might get to me and say if I bought efi live or something along those lines, I would start messing with stuff and wreck my motor.

Can anyone give me an idea of where I could install the water temp sender for an aftermarket water temp gauge? I don't just want to put it somewhere when there could be a way easier place to put it. Thanks alot.

I was thinking about running my truck at the dragstrip this week and I was wondering if I would improve my times at all if I ran some 98 octane unleaded gas that one of the stations here has. Also, if I did put this in my truck, would I do any harm to it otherwise???

You have to remember it was pretty hot there that day. Everything should have been alot faster, but it was around 90 I think. I liked those wheels alot on your truck. I do not know who had the red ss out there. That is how fast my truck was when I first ran mine too. I ran a 15.3 with my 24's, intake, exhaust and tune. I am sure I would have got a 14 with the stock wheels though. I see more and more of these trucks the longer I own mine. When I bought it there was two other ones in town and now there is like 10-15. But I am pretty sure mine is the fastest. What did you think of that jet truck?

Hey I saw two ss's from the minneapolis area this weekend at the bir show and go. They both competed in the truck elimator class. It was pretty cool to see a couple of ss's there, and they had a pretty sweet jet truck there too.

Turns out the case was bad on my tranny causing something not to line up write. I guess it was a service bullitin from gm. So hopefully sometime next week I will be up and running.

I checked all the pipes and the clamps are all tight. Do boost gauges tend to wear out or anything like that???

When I am really getting on my truck and in high rpm's, above 4000 or so, before the truck shifts, the rpms jump and then it drops down into gear. Not really sure what the problem is with it. It is going into the dealership tomorrow or the next day and I hope it isn't something serious.

When I first installed my vortech supercharger, I was getting 9-10 psi of boost, but lately my gauge has only been reading 4. What would cause this. My tranny is having some problems, would that do it, or is there something else.

I have been looking into that. I am going to order a bigger cooler and flush the tranny and get some better fluid first before I do anything else. Until then I am going to be easy on the gas. About three months ago my tranny went to hell and I got it rebuilt with upgraded parts. Today while I was hot roddin around I noticed it slipping when the truck was at high rpms and ready to shift. Someone in town said that maybe I should get it flushed and filled again, but I just hope that there is not something going wrong with my tranny cuz I don't think the dealer will warranty it again.
