  1. Got the light and code. Changed the fuel filter and plugs for now. Plugs are greenish black on driver bank and brownish black on passenger bank. I reset the code. If it does it again I will look into the regulator and pcv valve.
  2. Same thing happened to me last time and that is exactly what they charged me. I got all new sets of raybestos clutches(which i already had), a "stater" pump , torque converter, and forward drum. You couold try to shop around but it doesnt sound that bad. Or just buy a built one for 2200 and do the swap yourself.
  3. Actually it says " Fuel Trim Bank2, System too lean" and there is no leak either.

    Help Me!!

Like 20 mins ago damn check engine light turned on when I started up the truck, checked it with the diablo and got a P0174 code. Bank 2 running too lean. Anyone have this problem? My only guess is something with the fuel rail(sh!t clooged but don't know why) or my biggest suspect an injector. But how can I pinpoint the problem? Got some ideas? All the handheld tells me is the code.
  5. I used to be one of the only ones down here on this site., Now you guys are coming out of the woodworks. SS are becoming common in these parts.
  6. No just to clarify. I am supercharged with all the other goodies.
  7. I spin all four about 5 feet but no smoke. If I do a donut, It looks like a fire though.
  8. Reds a nice color but black is the fastest . Shopman1 makes the bowties btw. Maybe I'll see you around. Just look for a blkack ss screamin by with a crooked tag.
  9. Damn Comedians! Maybe next time.
  10. All pretty easy stuff. I wouldn't try the trans stuff yet. I am still tryin to learn that. I know a real good guy in Doral which is about an hour from you and he has a dyno. Look up Gabby's Auto Werks. He could do whatever you don't.
  11. I've had my share of tranny problems sorry to say... . But Chase is right. Strengthen your tranny or buy a built one, either way I guarantee yoy will see problems if you leave it stock.
  12. Simple man. Did it in 2 hours including getting parts I needed. If you mount it where I did and have a radix even better because I am not sure how the mounts are without the heat exchanger. Anyway, Get 1/2 female fittings to fit the line that came in you kit. Disconnect the hard lines from the bottom of the tranny cooler. 2 3/4 wrenches I believe. A bit of fluid will seep out but don't worry. Put the fittings on the hard lines and route your hose to the cooler. You might haveto get some metal and make other brackets but I am not sure. I just cut the supports that came with the kit and drilled bigger holes. FYI....NEVER BEND OR CUT THE HARD LINES ON YOUR TRUCK!!!!
  13. I think I found a way to go faster than anyone else who owns an SS for way cheaper.....Im gonna put her on a plane... They definitely go past 150!
  14. Sorry. Guys got more time than expected. Got a surprise trip to halloween horror nights. Anyway the number was 17. Congrats to DGIEPSS. PM your info and I will get it to you.
  15. After my tranny has taken a sh!t a couple of times even with it beefed up, I decided to get a bigger cooler....yeah...much bigger. 30000gvw cooler to be specific. Real easy and quick. Took some pics from the camera phone because I have no clue where the digital is at. I will probably get a fan to put in there in the future but at least now I am seeing about a 40 degree drop in temps.
  16. Chase, how much are you boosting on that man? I see 10 off the radix and was wondering if you got to dyno it?
  17. Im not sure here but I think the Zippy kit has a valve body plate with other goodies. Most shift kits I know od just have burnups and springs and maybe a servo. But contact Zippy. He is one of the best in it.
  18. I was checking out some awd burnouts at the track in some ss's. Just wondering who on here it was and what they have. SICKNESS!!! You guys should check it out on streetfire.net.
  19. Mine stalls at 2800 but even with the brake to the floor she creeps forward?
  20. Best advice......don't be cheap when it comes to fixing up your truck. Do everything right the first time. Its ok to shop around just try not to cut corners.
  21. For those with 2wd, definitely go to Gabby's auto werks in Doral. He's awesome and I can probably get him to give you a deal. As for awd, i myself am looking and will let you know what I find.
  22. Since I don't have my hitch on anymore I am giving away a locking j-pin for whoever needs it. Just guess the magical number from 1-100 or get closest to it in 24 hrs or so and there you go. One guess though.
  23. I know i've been lost for a while, but that doesn't mean I went Ford or Dodge. I still have the beast But I have been caught up on life. Just to let you guys know, since the last time I was on I managed to blow the tranny twice and about a month ago a rig at work sideswiped her. She's getting a new fender and the work done now. I can't wait to get her back and throw it on the dyno and track it. When I do I'll let you know. As for now, I have some reading and catching up to do on here. And for those of you who don't remember, I have the SS with the crooked tag(unless there is another one on here now... )
  24. I know i've been lost for a while, but the\at doesn't mean I
