  1. wow ... nobody? ... everyone busted my balls about using an FM transmitter so I switched to the harness ... crazy
  2. If you wired up an amp ... that makes the chimes really loud also ...
  3. I like the locking tailgate ... with no topper/tonneau
  4. There has been empirically evidence that shows a relationship between a type of vehicle and the person who owns it. Here is a simple test to see what type of truck fits your lifestlye best.... You will be better suited with a Silverado SS if this picture turns you on You will be better suited with a Dodge Hemi Ram (with or without sticker package) if this turns you on Once again ..... Dodge Ram owners idea of a wild time SS owners idea of a start to a wild night. I hope this test has been informative and helpful in your decision on what type of lifestyle you fit in best. 'That thing got a hemi?' .... or .... 'Did you bang all those chicks?'
  5. Meaning the second pic? I have no clue why it turned out so damn big I tired it twice on photobucket because it should be the same as the first. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Zippy was going for the TWO BIG THUMBS UP .... not the pictures are too big.
  6. I didn't hook up the 12v continious power ... it said to only do that if you are using the GM-C harness ... is that the problem? I am assuming that is for " charging " ....ipods and crap.
  7. I'm trying to hook up the Aux2Car unit with the PXHGM3 wire harness to allow me audio inputs for my center council screen. I set the pins as per the instruction manual. I do not have XM, so I plugged the wire harness into the aux slot on the back of the deck. I put everything back together and the aux inputs did not work ... I can't switch over to the unit ( doesn't recognize the new inputs ). Is there another step I am missing? TIA
  8. May I present to you ..... the FORD ESCORT SS .... $200 takes it home.
  9. Get a new twilight sensor then ... rather than treating the syptoms ... treat the problem.
  10. That is what I was thinking when I read this topic ... how many threads have we seen that claim people doing the Zaino and taking them multiple days ... on a truck ... Granted you could dedicate a whole weekend to the job and not worry about it.
  11. Big O

    carfax?

lol ... that's crazy ... escaladeSS had an account he was whoring our for a long time that just ended yesterday ... damn the timing!
  12. I would lift weights but they are so damn heavy.
  13. turn your head lamp switch to the left when they come on and they will shut off ... ditto for the Daytime Running Lights.
  14. Well I have a question that has been haunting my dreams lately ... ( well not really ) .... Dawn removes wax ... but does it remove the acrylic sealers ... ie Zaino and Der Stuff .... I have only used Der Stuff ... not Zaino ... and I was wondering if I need to strip it down or can I just keep putting layer on layer over the years?
  15. I have been down that road far too many times ... that sucks ... nice investigation work though.
  16. *** And finally make sure to fill up early in the morning or late at night .... becuase .... fuel pumps measure by volume instead of density ... fuel is more dense when cold ... therefore giving you more bang for the buck !!!
  17. Just how does the truck know you've done that? Sounds like something a salesman would say. First I have heard something like that and have been doing what I posted for 4 trucks now. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> yowzers ... [/attitude] It wasn't a matter of the truck 'knowing' that you have done it ... I can't remember exactly what ... but something about the excess fuel ruining sensors or causing some sort of premature failures of something ... like I said ... I don't know what was the problem ... just remember hearing something about that a couple years ago. Just for the record ... I usually fill er up also ... at least one or two clicks past the initial shut off.
  18. Its more about RPM's than how " sissy " you drive it ... There is definatly a sweet spot in there ... slower and faster than that and your MPG decrease. I have also been told numerous times that filling the neck of your tank is bad for the truck. After it " auto " shuts off ... don't put any more in. FYI
  19. I wonder how the sound would be on a straight muffler swap? similar?
  20. Didn't affect us here in Wyoming ... lol Didn't even know about it until I read this post .....
  21. Thats not funny at all. Actually, thats ****ed up that someone would even attempt to make it funny. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> As much as I like to give shit to Dan Payne ....
  22. He sold his SS ... so he probably isn't around too much ....
