  1. that is not the hood i thought you got, the one pictured in the other thread is different your looks like the reflexxion hood
  2. i did this on my 22's also last week and it took me a good two hours of cleaning to get them nice, there was alot of brake dust/grime on the inside of mine and it ttok alot of work, but when they go back on .well worth doing , it also a good excuse to rotate your wheels/tires.
  3. how come it took so long to clean your wheels, did you drive through some newly paved asphalt?
  4. yeah i only buy 76 and chevron!! chit there the only ones i trust that actually have something similar to the octane rating im paying for.i know other stations that when they are filling their tanks ,if they have extra 87 and dont have room in the 87 tank they just dump it in the 91 tank.
  5. nothing a sawza cant take care of! cant wait to see it on your truck!
  6. the good mark looks like it has good fit, you already know what my suggestion is. i have a thing for the goodmark cowl.

this is where the interceptor gauge comes in handy.
  10. go to ebay and type in silverado led, or look through haynss posts!
  11. there are two differnt piece's one for aux inputs and one for rca outs. and yes you can retain the stock wheel controls, but all it is , is an after market remote that is wired into your wheel controls and is placed somewhere in operating range of the h/u. so it has a slight pause when you seek up or down!
  12. its not an 05, its either an 03 or an 04
  13. you will probably need the hood too, it may work but wont fit 100% right these picture will help expain what im talking about
  14. i beleive the nelson uses pin 42 on the pcm you tap into , this way you can set the e-fans to turn on and off at a temperature of your choice controlled by the pcm, you can also have an optional switch to run them, but i belevie the fal fans have a built in thermostat !

i honestly dont thin you can get to that speed, i think the hood would fly off around 160. i have been 137 in mine and the hood started scarinf me
  16. depends what fans you are using and if you want them to be controlled via pcm, you will also be able to add some timing since your coolant temps will be lower so i would recommend it!
  17. ive seen that one before , here is another good rednack video redneck stoppie!
  18. the pac adapter is eithr to add aftermarket subs or add an aux input it does nothing for the sound of the door speakers.
  19. they are pretty nice, i like the ds03 the best but i dont think i would pay that for them, imo they are more of a luxury style wheel. on a side note i just noticed your from "Morehead" what a great name!!
  20. i bet the launches are fun, but i bet it also killed your top end, should take some 1/4 mile runs and let us know the results!
  21. i love the sound of a system, but when you go to a new head unit you cant keep the stock controls( you can but its with a wireless remote) i want to do this but i tend to spend money on go fast goodies instead. i also like the fact that i already have a 6disc in dash changer and xm, for me to keep those feature with an aftermarket hu, would be expensive. As for what company i would go with . i would go with alpine or eclipse for the head unit( some of the best you can get) and spend more money on the component speakers because that where alot fo your sound comes from. (focal, cdt, image dynamics, etc) as for subs i would do something nice (probably w7) but with the right enclosure you can make anything sound good. high quality amps would also be a must for me. IT just depends what you want it to sound like and how much your willing to spend. As for adding speakers to the stock unit which is the route i would go, jl audio makes something called the cleansweep, which is supposdly really nice . its where you can add speakers to the stock hu, it also has an aux input which is cool. You can decent sound out of the stock speakers if you amp them. Im am currentyl doing a little radio system in my beater, which im trying to be as cheap as possible, it includes a decent pioneer hu, infinity door speakers and maybe a single 10-12. im not going to spend more than 500 for the beater. if you keep your eye out for stuff on ebay you can piece together a great system for pretty cheap!
  22. id say 22-23k would be a price i would consider, its pretty sad how not even two years ago they were going for 30k. hopefully the awd will hold their value better in the future, i plan on keeping this one for the long haul though!
  23. the cool thing about a yank is they are rated at the same towing capacity as the stock tc!
