  1. The shift points were moved around to find what is likes at the track. On the dyno we took it to 7,000.

TXSilverado brought his 28 ET drags and they were Biting hard.

The converter works great with the cam, shift drops are right about 1500-1600 on motor, alittle lose for some but i love it and it gets driven about 3k a year so it's not an issue for me.

The converter is flashing right at 3900

On a 100-125 shot it flashes alittle over 4200

    About a year ago On the factory truck manifold with a 125 shot,it went a best of 12.03 @ 110MPH with a 1.6 60ft.

It would run 12.0's all night.

We will see this fall what it will do with the new manifold and ported heads on a 125 shot or so.

  2. Not nearly fast enough N/A!!!! Still a turd

    1.7 60ft

    12.7 @ 105MPH

DA was right at a +900-1100 I would have to look again.

Usually by the end of october we have a negative DA alot of nights, this will also help it.

With more work, heads and good weather,it should do pretty good.

    1-2 shift point is 68-6850

    2-3 6800

spinning it higher does nothing for it,which the track has proved as well as the dyno.

  3. Last month we finally made it to the track for a few N/A passes. It has not ever been run N/A,everything has been on a 100-150 shot in the past.

For the first time I couldn't complain

Thanks to a few of my buddies for taking care of everything, switching the tires ect.LOL I turn around and the slicks were on and ready to go :P

I wanted to see what it would do N/A before I have the heads ported ect.I have a high expectancy this winter,in order to reach that,I will have the heads Ported by Craig Gallant more than likely

    This is the setup

  4. I wouldn't wait for 3-4 hours for 1.00 off. That is crazy to me,I rather just pay it.

If they let there car sit and idle, how much are you really saving while blowing cold ac,or you can sit there and sweat.

Or how many times are they going to turn on and off the vehicle as every car moves up to pump.LOL

Also with all the people,it would be a pain in the ass to even pull in and out

    No thanks :pepsicheer:

Fuel is high, and more than likely,it will never be what it was 5-10 years ago,pay it or pedal

  5. I have emailed Chris at Circle D offering to let him have a look at the lockup tables ect.

I offer this to him so he knows tuning isn't the problem so he knows since his converter is in there.

Vince and Chris had a good point also on the other board as well.

Will if you figure anything out or need anything, just let me know ok

    Thanks guys

  6. We had set an appointment for this friday at 630pm

Being he is out of town,we were

Sunday evening we get a call saying a family member is not doing well and we need to drive up there.

Regardless I was about to have cancel the appointment due to a family emergency and having to leave town right away.

Before I even got to cancel all appointments for the week I got a text message demanding a call or he would go elsewhere.

I told him he is going to go elsewhere and I am not going to deal with sent messages with an attitude right now when I got the phone call I got.

I didn't get into details with any customers on the reasoning for having to cancel all appointments for this week and possibly next,we don't know yet but It looks like I should have mentioned it so it didn't come to this.

As of right now,we are waiting on phone calls on when we need to leave town, when we do get the call we will be leaving immediately

I will be leaving town to be with my family during this time.

I should have went a better way about the situation but I didn't and there is nothing I can do about it.

We have 14 pcm's that must leave in the morning which have to go out before i leave and still have several emails to get to.

I am very sorry for the frustration this has caused but I will be back in town shortly and take care of all my customers that are willing to wait. I don't like waiting either but I am only one person and so many hours in a day.

I will not be going back and forth in this thread

if there are anyone needing anything or have any questions,Please send me a PM and I will get to you in the order they are received as always

    Thanks for your time guys

  7. Thanks guys

That is correct the factory 99-07 classic 78mm truck manifold was used before.

You can use the factory fuel rails with the rail kit you can get from fast.

I am about to order the fast billet rails.

Kevin,Yes I got rid of the MAF while I was at it,so the VE needed work,Base idle airflow, spark ect.

Transient fuel on closed throttle really needed some work as well as alittle bit at throttle tip in.

I went to Chevrolet and got an IAT sensor for an F body as well as the pigtail and relocated the IAT Sensor

The idle is very solid and stable.

  8. Ok guys,I figured I would start a new thread with the dyno results going from the factory truck intake manifold to the Fast LSXRT 102mm manifold.

An LS3/LS7 90mm throttle body was used along with the X link.It works very well,no problems

The only changes were the manifold, throttle body and removed MAF sensor (Speed Density)

All pulls were done in 3rd gear TCC locked

If you wonder about the hp falling off at 6600RPM about 15hp,we ran into 2 degrees of KR and that was the result.LOL I will be back in a few weeks with more results.

The heads are still the factory 243's milled .035,ports are untouched.

Hopefully this will help some of those who have been wondering how well this manifold really works :pepsicheer:
