  1. IMO, the new Tundra is over priced and boring.
  2. Bad Bowtie, Many thanks!!! Now, I can get my truck back to stock.
  3. Will do, as soon as it stops raining buckets.
  4. They fit perfectly. The rear mat is one piece and covers both footwells and the hump. I thought $135, plus shipping, was too much; but, now that I have them, I believe they are worth it. Don't worry about what it says about 2 to 3 weeks for delivery. Mine arrived, from CA to MD, in just a few days.
  5. Yes. It's a 2006 SS, according to the window sticker, VIN and all details; except, someone had stolen the SS logo cover, in the dash, and the dealer had replaced it with the cubbyhole that is standard in regular 2007 Silverados. I questioned it, and the missing front license plate bracket, when I bought it; but, of course, the salesman and sales mgr lied and said SS's don't have front license plate brackets and that the SS dash emblem was changed to the cubbyhole for 2006. I wanted a new SS and this was the only one I could find in a 250 mile radius. Plus, after rebates, I bought it for $10,000 under msrp/sticker. Therefore, its no big deal, to me, to spend around $100, for the front license plate bracket and SS logo dash piece.
  6. I received the SS logo cover ( gm # 15178169 ), today. I still need part #'s for the blank cover, that fits in the hole below it, and the bracket, into which the logo cover and blank cover snap. TIA.
  7. I just received my Silverado SS floor mats, from Chevy Mall online. They are very high quality Lloyds mats. Silverado SS Floor Mats
  8. I've had my SS for only 2 weeks. Hope to see you around; except when you are on duty, with the OCPD, and I'm speeding.
  9. I'm, also, in Salisbury, MD.
  10. Could someone tell me the part #'s, I need, besides: SS dash piece/emblem, part #15178169? Specifically, the 2 blanks and bracket. Sorry, to be a PIA. I'm just confused and I expect the dealer's parts people to be clueless.
  11. Thanks, everyone, for excellent info and help. Do I understand, correctly, that all I need, to restore my 2006 SS, to OEM, is SS dash piece/emblem, part #15178169, and that it is big enough to fill the entire hole in the dash?
  12. fast4popper, Thanks very much. 2 blanks would be much cheaper and I've never turned the air bags off, in any vehicle I've ever owned.
  13. CoolBlueSS, Many thanks! Do I need any other parts to fill the hole, like a blank?
  14. Just bought one. Thanks for the tip!
  15. I just bought a new/left over 2006 SS, at Koons Chevrolet, in Vienna, VA. The SS dash emblem and the air bag disable switch were replaced with the standard Silverado storage cubby hole. The dealer claims it came that way. BS. It has been on the lot for 16 months and someone took it and the dealer went for a much cheaper replacement. However, it was, otherwise, a great deal and I love it. I want to restore my dash to OEM. I understand the part # for the SS dash piece/emblem is 15178169. Does anyone know the part #'s for the air bag disable switch, etc, I need to replace. TIA.
