  1. It all worked fine before?

Highly doubt "it's wired wrong". The remote start sounds like it lost your tachometer memory signal when you disconnected the battery

As for the radio, I'd plug the fuse back in, and start the truck with all doors closed. Let run for like a minute. Then shut the truck off and open the door. See it the module that controls this, resets itself.

Keep us informed. (Frustrated by assumptions of uneducated people)

  2. Remote poppers on my alarm remote. Drivers door has a hidden button. If these fail I can roll windows down with the remote as well. If the truck battery happens to die, I have an Optima battery under the bed isolated by a 200 amp marine circuit breaker that I can manually switch on and get into the truck. And finally, if this don't do it... A brick. LOL

  3. I'm going to step away from this post, before I get banned. (Which has happened a few times to me for speaking my mind and being misunderstood). Enjoy your truck. Good luck with selling it. Just let it be known, the pics that are yours, and not Brian's, you can tell its been neglected and beaten.

You'd have to see it to understand. 30 is about a normal price for a low mileage ss. The transmission swap alone was a 7k job. The wilwood front set up was a 4k job. The pro charger set up with new tune for new tranny was about 8k. That's just three of the big differences. This thing is also set up to run race fuel under the hood. I'm sure you can find a SS with a nice sounding exhaust, wheels, and some other aesthetic modifications for 35. Not one with all the visual mods and also capable of this kind of power and reliability though.

Dude you build it? 85 seems kinda steep. I was thinking I could do 35000 cash in hand

  5. Here is his reply...

Haven't thought about bottom dollar. It's for sale and would consider slightly lower offers, but it would cost roughly 85k to build so I'm not looking to lose big time. If someone wants a truck that can smoke nearly any car, they'll buy it for what it's worth.
