  1. They do make a controller for LSX style engines which looks as if it replaces the stock pcm and is programmable for boost nitrous and many other things but my guess is that this would cost more than just buying hpt and upgrading to a 3bar map. (BTW no i'm not talking about their unit for putting a carburetor on an LSX engine)
  2. Yes it's for the 6.0 trucks but not four ours. I bought one a long time ago right after I bought my SS I had bought a hypertech before I knew anything about the options of tuning and the hypertech didn't work because they didn't make it for the SS yet it was for the lq4 not the lq9. So I returned it and got the one from Jet and they stated that it would work and that it was for the 6.0 in the SS. I got it and installed it but it felt as if I had either lost power or just didn't gain anything so I took it back and looked around more and found HPtuners which is way more expensive but worth the money and time it took to learn how to use it.
  3. Aww come on guys lets not fight... Texas SS you have to expect if you post something that not all feed back is going to be positive!
  4. Actually the white lines in the sky were already there so it only made sence to put the truck on the road and upside down. I have meant to go back and redo part of it because I just did it really quick messin around because I thought it was a cool background.

  11. Whats the difference between lets say a 1970 chevelle front fender and door compared to a 1970 elcamino fender and door?
  12. Totally off-topic - I LOVE that color scheme. Very nice truck... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> LOL if only it were real!
  13. IMO comparing the two Puffers would look better if it was filled because his comes down a bit further and the bottom of the pan looks damn near perfectly straight. I don't see why you guys are saying it's easier to reinstall the rear bumper with BSER's pan. I think it would be just as easy with Puffers pan as well you just have to change the side cladding back to the stock pieces which is held on with double sticky tape and some screws Even if Puffers was filled you could still go back to stock, if you were to do it correctly and glass the backside where you join the pieces together you could take it off as one piece without harming it and reinstall your stock cladding and bumper. You would have to buy new cladding and have it painted if you wanted to change back after filling the BSER pan.
  14. Knowing what it takes to make something as nice as he has I would say that is a very fair price!
  15. Yeah maybe he's still wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.
  16. Really whats the difference in the rods? I would assume that they were the same since bore and stroke were the same as far as I knew. I was always under the understanding that the only difference was the fact one was lower compression than the other and that obviously the tunes were different.
  17. Just wait till they'er fully seated. With the 15's and six piston calipers anyways, I always find myself braking more often than needed or too soon. I now generally wait till just before you would usually think oh sh!t to hit the brakes Then the guy behind you is thinking oh sh!t
  18. If I had an SS and was looking for a rollpan I would buy this one over BSER no offense to BSER but I really like this one because it doesn't seem to roll under as drastic and the seems line up with the tailgate seems. It also wouldn't be hard to fill those seems and make it one piece.
  19. Don't you get dizzy bein that high up?
