  1. It's a quick change gearing transfer case made by SCS Gearbox. Their tranfer cases are used a lot for tough trucks and mud racers. SCS Gearbox Website Miss Misery Racing Website
  2. You're best bet is to eliminate their food source, grubs. Treat your yard with Scott's GrubEx or something comparable and they should leave once there is nothing left for them to eat. Another thing you can try in conjunction with the grub control is something called Whole Control. It is made from castor oil so it does not contain pesticides. The website below is just an example. You can buy Whole Control other places. Whole Control
  3. The Night Runner package was actually available on the Ram 1500, Dakota and Durango in 2006 and maybe 2007. It was package on the SRT-10 in 2007.
  4. Hey, guys. Stupid question...I see on Island's website that they require a helmet. Is this true? If so, I will need to pick up a helmet, if I decide to go. I would love to get my truck to the track.

  6. I have them and couldn't be happier with them. Considering my Bilsteins were shot anything would have been an improvement, though. It's hard to describe the ride. It is firm but not harsh. It just feels really controlled.
  7. I had Bell's Palsy about 10 years ago. I took a drink of water and it dribbled down the side of my face. At first I was like WTF, but then I couldn't blink my eye or anything and it freaked me out a little. Mine was a result of Lymes Disease. I think it took a few weeks to totally go away, but I've been fine since.
  8. It's possible it was me. Depending on when you saw the truck it may have had polished aluminum 22s on it or the stock painted wheels. I park down there a lot to walk my dog. I have heard of your existance. My future brother in-law lives on Hewitt Rd and told me he saw a truck like mine. I'm not far from those sticks, I live on Featherbed Ln off of 519. You mentioned thinking about suspension mods. If you want to take a look at my truck or talk about it, let me know. I have a 2/2 drop using Belltech spindles and shackles.
  9. I know that they are not grooved like you are looking for, but I would recommend Catch-All Carpeted Floor Mats. They have a raised lip around the edge to hold in liquid and fasteners to hold them in place. The charcoal ones match the stock carpet pretty good. They are a little pricey, but they are molded specifically for the truck and fit perfect. Here is a link to them on Stylin' Trucks -->Click Here Catch-All also makes a version without carpet -->Click Here Last but not least, here some other options -->Click Here
  10. Flemington area, huh? Surprised I haven't seen you around. I live in Kinqwood Township. The only other SS I see on a regular basis is my Dad's black '05.
  11. If 8hnpSS is only interested in one of the wheels, I would be interested in the other. I need a spare. I'm in Jersey too, so I could pick it up.
  12. I have a set on my stock 20s for the winter. I have zero complaints. I got caught in a blizzard in Vermont earlier this year and they pulled me through the snow no problem.
  13. Yes, that is how I did mine. I backed my truck onto ramps so I had a little more room to work. When it came time to slide the stock exhaust over the axle, I had to jack the body of the truck up a little to gain clearance between the axle and the bottom of the bed. I just used a block of wood and jacked up the back of the truck by the trailer hitch. Didn't take much, but I don't think it would have come out otherwise without cutting it.
  14. Not sure if this applies to you guys or not, but I had a problem when the passenger seat was moved almost all the way forward. The wiring harness under the seat was getting pinched and turning the light on. When the seat was moved back to a normal position it was fine. The dealer fixed it, but I am honestly not sure how. The Service Air Bag light also came on in my Dad's SS and one of the sensors behind the front bumper needed to be replaced.
  15. I might not be far behind you either. I actually looked at a Speed 3 this past Saturday. Good luck with the car.
  16. The recommendation I have read is to get the touring if you plan on doing headers. Apparently, the sport with headers is VERY loud.
  17. Awesome find, man. I almost bought one of those a few years ago at Carlisle. The ultimate sleeper.
  18. According to Belltech's latest Application guide the part numbers are: Front - 8521 Rear - 0" - 1" drop - 8536 Rear - 2" - 4" drop - 8504 Stylin' Trucks part numbers are not up to date. Belltech has changed their part numbers. You might be able to call Stylin' Trucks and have them get the correct part numbers added to their catalog. That is what I am trying to do now since the Street Performance shocks I ordered are not the correct part number anymore and Stylin' Trucks does not have the new numbers in their system.
  19. The 22" Centerline Rapids are advertised as weighing 37 lbs.
  20. If you want, I can see if I have the nut and lock washer that was supplied with the spindles. I honestly, don't remember if I used it or not. I don't ever plan on running anything smaler than a 20" wheel because of my brakes, so if I have it you are welcome to it.
  21. If I remember correctly, the stock nut was used if the bolt was not being trimmed. Belltech only supplied the lower profile nut for use with 17" wheels not both. I don't think I bothered using the supplied nut because I also installed Baer brakes at the same time which require 20" wheels anyway. I think you will be fine regardless of what nut was used. There should still be enough clearance.
  22. The install instructions fo rthe spindles state the following: "When using 17” wheels you must use the supplied nut and lock washer on the lower ball joint then trim the ball joint stud for adequate clearance (illustration 18). Photo 16 shows the backside of the 2508 steering knuckle with a stock 17” wheel. The supplied lock washer and nut should be installed and torqued to 60 ft.lbs. Before the ball joint stud is trimmed. It is recommended that when you remove the lower portion of the stud you leave at least 1/16” of the stud extended out from the nut. It is also recommended that once the stud is trimmed off you use a chisel or punch to score the edge of the threads to prevent any possibility of the nut coming loose (illustration 18)."
  23. Cool. Thanks. That's what I figured since you said the Drop 2s were short. Guess I better order the Nitro Actives before they disappear since Belltech doesn't make them anymore.
