My buddy collects small window 2nd gen Firebirds, has has a few gorgeous cars.
I'm a 69 TransAm lover and I prefer the small back window Firebirds, but my brother LOVES the big back window gen2 cars.

What was done differently to the 4.3 engine from the S-15 to the stock syclone? I know the turbo, but that's all I know.

Most people I know have little knowledge of SyTys, when they came out they weren't well known but they could stomp a lot of "performance" vehicles.... Quick little trucks even dead stock!

It was not flashed on the bottle but it was sprayed before the the 60ft

Your 60 foot times are already impressive, if you manage a 1.6 60 foot it would turn the stomachs of a few stout musclecar owners.....

My driving skills are average.
I have had my cobra for a total of 2 weeks. I have a 92 5.0. but it is being redone and i have not drove it for over 2 years.
As far as knowing what im doing, so, so.
I got my cobra 2 weeks ago and was ment to restore and slowly mod over time.
My buddy wants this so bad it aint even funny.
What's killing me is that he wants to spot me so many cars, But i'll take them.
I would have to say you are honest to a fault.

damn bro is it that hard for you to just let it go. i beat him he may have messed up. cool if i got beat i still would have put it on here. but the high and mighty DODGE blew up so kill for me and chevy. i have no reason to make stuff up. i have nothing to prove just though it was funny cause i beat him. sorry to come across rude but it seems like you are just digging up things and trying to prove me out to be a liar. the stage 3 neon srt-4 lost thats the end of it.. haha i beat a dodge ricer

My car was owned by a 68 year old man, (Original Owner) it was not broken in correctly, It should be a good race either way.
I was just curious on what you guys think might happen.
I say if it's a 1/4 mile race, even start and no "giving lengths" bs....

I don't think it's limited to expensive cars to be honest, I know quite a few guys who own cars who get angry if I just SUGGEST they race a truck.
I had a ClubCab Dodge with a 440 that people were insulted when I suggested they line up with their cars, and I know quite a few guys who WILL NOT race a newer truck, doesn't matter what kind of truck it is.

only mods are dynatech longtubes, corsa sport, taylor wires, k&n cold air, blackbear tune, slp stat....
i DID put a new fan clutch on this week-lol. the guy that was driving it was in his 50's i would guess. i don't know, i just thought it was interesting. and the family did make it out ok. kinda sucks, if we would have been in the wifes truck it would have been different. oh well

I ran a BMW 335i on the highway last year on my way home from the track, two guys pulled up beside me and when traffic cleared we both rolled at the speed limit then he pounded it and I went with him. We ran hard to 120+ mph a few times.
I pulled very slowly on him each time. A BMW 335i should be pulling on ME.
He had two people in the car but they were both small, and I'm 220+, so I don't think it was the weight difference... not sure what was wrong with him, maybe a little pedal nervous, or...? He SHOULD have beat me though, by a few lengths... not sure what happened.

My buddy has a ss awd pickup, I just bought a 93 cobra and his mouth is watering to race me.
He is giving me 3 cars and he will beat me by 1 he says.
he has no cats, K & N Filter, Chip.
what do you guys think?

I would guess you are mid to low 14s, it depends what your buddy's truck runs. The filter won't do much, the "chip" might! Depends what he has.... it shouldn't be a spanking either way unless someone is bending the truth...

well it makes perfect sence if you started racing at freeway speeds , thats the problem with ricers they are all low end no top end at all.
ricers are lite and have no torque high speeds = sucky pulling power ...
Race a stage 3 SRT4 on the freeway from a roll. It will truly ASTOUND you. No need to worry about turbo lag starting at 70mph in an SRT4 stage 3 or not unless you are in 5th gear, and even then I'm not sure it would matter.
Like I said, hit a few sites, google "stage 3 SRT4", and I think unless you are in a 12 second vehicle you will be in trouble FAST. Watch a couple roll on videos on Youtube.
I'm not a 4 banger fan in any way shape or form, but I watched a stock SRT4 run a 13.9 at our track, we went to the guy's pit and asked him what was done to his Neon. He told us it was a stock SRT4, and to be honest we thought he was lying at first.
A stage 3 SRT4 is a whole different animal....
That was a Neon with decals, or something was much more wrong than JUST "wrong....

I'm pretty sure a CL55 AMG is a mid to high 12 second car, is it not?
I think they are neck and neck with a lot of Z06 Corvettes at the track... they are NOT slouches....

like i said not much to bragg about idk anything about the srt-4 stage-3.
Most are solid 12 second cars. A stage 3 SRT4 is quicker than it has a right to be IMO, and I'm a MoPar guy...
Unless it was a decalled out Neon I can't understand it with your mods, that's for sure!

Stage 3 SRT4s are 12 second cars. I would say that's something worth bragging about!!!!!
