  1. I traded in my SS in Bournes auto center in south Easton Ma back in 2010, it was a 2005 two tone silver birch metallic and black, had a radix supercharger, cowl hood, 2/2 drop, im really just curious if it's still on the road and possibly owned by a fellow ss member. I've recently bought another 2005 ss and was thinking about what happened to my old one from years ago. Unfortunately I don't have any pics.
  2. I run mobil 1 extended performance and change it every 12k miles. The bottle says 15k miles.
  3. Hi my truck was keyed on both sides so i'm going to get it repainted. Any pics of a two two silver and black SS.

  5. vss - is that the vehicle speed sensor? I didn't I think its already wired in my 05 because when I excellerate the radio gets louder and I can only enter an address at a complete stop.
  6. I have a stock tranny cooler. The tranny is fine. I go easy on it, its very easy to spin the tires on dry ground with the radix and with snow it takes alot of self-control. The SS is a truck I think alot of people forget that. I love my truck and didn't want to get rid of it and get into a car payment for a plow truck so why not.
  7. The nav unit is ok not great. I prefer the magellan 4250 that I have in my audi. The reason I wanted the factory nav unit is I've had 3 gps's stolen from me and the insurance won't cover it because its not built in. Well now its built in and they know its there. Plus i'm getting tired of getting new windows. I work in a rough neighborhood what can I say.
  8. Does anyone know where to get one of these pods? Is it a custom piece that someone made or can this be purchased somewhere. THis one looks awsome!
  9. It smells like burning rubber. I can smell it from the heat vents and under the hood. I only smell it after i've been driving with the plow on for a while. I kinda smells like the rubber from the hoses burning but the truck is running @ 210 or just under. The e-fans seem to be working fine they come on and off.
  10. As the title says how accurate is the stock temp guage? My truck smells funny when I'm driving with the plow for a while. The temp runs right at 210 according to the stock guage but I smell a burning smell from the hoses under the hood. I checked my coolant and its clean and still looks new. My fans seem to be running fine they turn on and off. Any Ideas?
  11. Here are some pics it took about 10 minutes. Sorry for the crappy pics i need to clean the screen with some lcd cleaner. I zip tied the nav antenna just temporarily behind the radio until its warmer out. It was a plug and play unit that i swapped with someone one on ebay. If anyone wants to install this radio the correct part # for the touch screen nav unit is 15800000. Thanks for the help 8hnpSS.
  12. I own 2 Domino's Pizza stores. I'm definitely the only guy delivering pizza in my SS.
  13. Yea I had this f250plow truck try to race me today it was pathetic.
  14. were you trying to get somones attention by posting like 10 times
  15. I paid the truck off last year and didn't want to trade it in. So no car payment and the plow will pay for itself in one season. Not many trucks out there that can run 13's at the strip and plow all winter. Maybe I am the 1st to do it on the sitebut the SS holds up great in any weather.
  16. Its great no problem I try to go easy because I have a supercharger and I don't want to break the tranny. I paid 4500 installed plus the snow tires.
  17. I bought a set of 17's on ebay with winter tires new for $600.00. They were in ct. They are listed all the time.
  18. The gibsons sound great. I own the Domino's Pizza in chicopee and Springfield. If your out this way stop by the truck is at one of my stores everyday. As for plowing the snow is scared. Someone should photo chop the SS graphic on the plow to see how it looks. Good idea.
  19. I had to cut out the middle of the bumper cover. Its a easy mount plow and comes off in less than 2 minutes. I'm going to get a second bumper cover in the spring and everything will hide behind it.
