you tell me. i only live about 5 miles from my house i logged off ebay got home to log on and i couldnt. i freaked! i thought there goes all my savings and credit cards. luckily i know people that can figure stuff out found out where the guy was located contacted ebay and had everything cleared up.. the guy had changed my ad to buy it now for 9000 and had changed the ad all around. scared the crap out of me. thats the first and i hope the last time that happens. illsmokeu pm me when you get a chance to let me know whats up thanks!!

12.9 was before the bigger injectors bigger fuel pump and lots more tuning.. the truck is alot quicker then it was. its all of what my firebird ran with the 406 if not more.. but thats just the seat of the pants feeling.

looks like mine is gonna be the one to go most likely. its a great truck runs drives great but she needs a car for the miles she drives, and her truck is more practical for winter driving. itll probably end up on ebay or i may de mod it and sell it. or sell it with the parts on it for the right offer...stay tuned

yeah i think we are gonna look for another grand prix gtp... my ls1 swap in the bird is taking priority my truck is great for daily driving now.. so ive gotta figure out what hers is worth and probably take a loss lol..

whats up guys the ls1 conversion is underway in the 88 formula firebird. my question is im using a pro products ls1 intake ported out a litte stock ls1 heads ported gasket matching the manifolds along with that im gonna run a comp cam 566/586 lift cam. i will be running a walbro 255lph intanker and when i really wana have some fun ill have a little n2o to spray. along with that a 3500 stall will be in the mix. will my stock injectors be enough to run this motor? i hate to get this thing running and tuned and come to find out im starving fuel.. i did that once lol on the truck. first time out guess what running lean. i dont wana do that again. i am going to be running a afpr to help control the fp a little. i think from what ive read our stock injectors are 25 lbs? think i should step up to a 36-42# to be safe?

what size are our stock injectors in our trucks? is it 26 or 30lbers?

like new used for about 3000 miles would like 150 for it and it comes with a brand new recalibration kit.. thanks for looking

my fiances truck gets 15.5 pretty consistantly while mine on the other hand with the 255lph intank and 60 pound injectors i get 10.5 to 11mpg

i have a 406 small block chevy motor that is in my firebird forsale. it has the following: edlebrock air gap intake holley street avenger 770 carb accell distributor accell wires vortec 350 heads ported and polished hooker shorty headers mild cam hypereutectic pistons tranny is a 700r4 built shifts very firm. billet servo's pretty much stock converter. runs very strong ran a best of 12.3 in my firebird. selling for a new project. motor has less then 5000 miles on it. asking 1500 or best offer for the motor and 800 obo for the trans..we can also work out a deal for the whole package. pm me or email me for pics thanks

whats up guys.. well i decided to keep my 1988 formula firebird. im gonna do a ls1 conversion. i have most of the parts needed. i have an extra lq9 that i picked up cheap. just needs minimal work.. i also have my stock trans out of my truck which i have heard can be converted from awd to rwd. my real question is where can i get the correct tailhousing for my conversion? im still doing some reading but i thought maybe someone on here might know where i can get it.. i found out my driveshaft will bolt right in so im good there. basically need to throw a bigger fuel pump in. throw a fpr in.. i have a stock computer out of my truck that i think i may beable to get to work. not sure on that quite yet.. need to get a painless wiring kit. im sure there will be little things but it doesnt look to be that bad to do. compared to my truck project lol.. anyone that can throw me some info would be great thanks!!!
