if yours is the same color as the seats then somebody changed it before youi got it because all of our trucks had tan headliner

have you checked the fuses under the dash and under the hood thats where i would start my SSS has led taillights led driving lights and led blinkers and the cruise works perfect but after i put the led taillights in the tahoe the cruise went crazy i am even able to just put the adapter in the trailer wire harness that has the red test lights on the end and the cruise will work

my wifes tahoe is doing the same thing since i put the led taillights on but when i pull a trailer with the lights on the extra load of the trailer lights makes the cruise work craziest thing ive ever seen

make sure you have it fitted first they dont fit very good at all dont just paint it and try to put it on your self

when i was doing upholstery work we had a poker tool that looked similar to a putty knife with smooth edges thats what we used for visors i did not like visors so i covered over the holes and left them out much cleaner imo you could send them to my old boss and he can handle it but really it is not that hard to do your self you just need the right tool but to make them perfect you have to do some hand sewing around the post
