  1. same here. he also is the type to take care of you after the sale as well. He just helped me get an extended warranty on mine even thought mine has expired. He is all about service. I told him today to keep an eye out for info on the camaro and to call me when they get one in.

  2. well i took thetruck to the dealer this morning and sure enough the cluster has gone bad. I was worried that my warranty just expired that they would charge me to replace it. However I was worng, they are going to take care of it and not charge me anything to fix it since i am only 2 day after my warranty expired.

  3. Well I pulled the gauge cluster out today, and sure enough the cluster is bad, the volt meter is sticking. Hopefully I will be able to get them to fix it under warrenty even though mine is an 05 under the bulletin the just came out. IF not does anyone know what a new one will cost.

  4. sorry i did mean volts. I have been checking the site and did find a bulletin on the gauge cluster but it was only talking about 03-04, mines and 05. I guess I will keep my fingers crossed that they will cover it..... I hope this is not signs to come that I am going to start having problems with my truck now. Does anyone know what a new cluster is going to cost???? Thanks for all your help.

  5. I did do what i knew how to test for on the alt, I had the truck running while i disconnected the battery and the truck did not die. SO I would assume that the alt is still ok. What would the chance be that the alt would be putting that much power out to pegg the gauge. The gauge does not fluctuate at all. It with the truck off it is sitting at 14 amps, once i start the truck it jump right to 19 and does not move at all. Am I correct in assuming that once I shut the truck off it should still fall to the left even if the alt was bad.

  6. OK guys, I need some help with this one. My SS just went out of warranty today, as I am driving I notice that my volt meter is pegged at 19 or all the way to the right. When I shut the truck off the volt meter goes down to 14, it never falls al the way to the down to the left. The truck runs great no problems with lights starting radio, everthing else is working great. What is the problem. It the alt bad, or is it just a bad cluster.

  7. There has been a lot of talk around here lately about everyones speedos giving out. I am looking for symptoms of this happening, I was triving my truck last night and the speedo really seemed to lag on decell. The speedo did not want to drop very fast while under breaking. is this a symptom to mine finally going out.
