This is how it started out when my cluster was going out. I'm lucky to still have low enough miles for them to have done it under warranty.
If Im right about this, next you will see problems with the tach, speedo, or trans temp gauge. Once my cluster was replaced my correct hours were back.
This is something we should not have to deal with.

I use 03 Escalade wheels with 275/60R17 studded Nokians for snow and ice. The center cap is a regular Chevy item off the stock base alloys.

I removed the battery to reset my truck while the new one was on and it worked until I shut the cargo lights off but what's funny is the OEM works fine. This is the second one I've been through. Either my truck is stubborn or it's the Third brake light.
Anzo is a good light if you start thinkin about a refund on the ipcw.

I had the same deal when I put in my Anzo LED third brake light. White LEDs are hard to see in daylight, esp in a 3rd brake light. My Anzo does have a ballast for the cargo lights though.

And If I did have to replace them every two years or so I wouldn't mind doing that-any more frequent and I would have to try something else.
I also like the fact that the Recon has a slot for the side marker bulb that lights up to look like neon. An added plus I didnt expect.

I did the rears. Love the Recon tails. Brightest LED's I have ever seen. I decided not to do the front lights at all.
IMO, the reason the Recons light up different segments for brake/tail functions is simply because the suckers would burn your eyeballs out if they all lit up.
If they go out I will send em back and get more. Recon _says_ their LEDs are the brightest (definitely believe that) and that theirs last longer (dont know about that).
I definitely like the choices I made. Thanks for the good advice.

My kid turns 16 this year, and he's begging me to either give him mine (NOT going to happen) or to get him one of his own (we will see). I've always said the SS is not appropriate for kids, but my kid is different from most. He has a level of respect and care for the SS that parallels my own. As I said in another post, I can drive almost anything I want, but the SS is what I want to drive.

I sort of need to do the bumper lights and tail-I have one bumper light and one tail that are leaking, and one tail that is chipped on the inside of the lens-have NO idea how that happened.
I was just trying to see what other folks thought is all.

Right on. I will look at the smoked ones again. The bumper lights are a new thing-only found out about them this week.
I found a video with them in it-I think I like them.

I'm going to do exterior LED's shortly. I wish someone would put LED's in the stock 03-07 housings.
Here's what I want to do. If anyone has experience with these and did not like them let me know before I make a mistake. I thought long and hard about smoked lights and decided to go with a close to stock look.

You can't go wrong with that D-Max W/T 2500. I read the same Truck Trend article you did. You can mod it up as time goes by, and it is definitely a fast sleeper truck-faster than the stock SS was out of the box.

To each, his/her own I always say. It doesn't matter what people say about my almost bone stock truck.
I sold cars for 11 years, and I could drive anything I want to. But no other vehicle makes me as happy as my SS.
Long story short, my truck is me, and I am my truck, if that makes any sense.

I had a Gremlin X-Pack once. Not sure if I liked it or not :| It was pretty fast though.

A dealer near me has an SLP 454 Camaro. Looks great.

My brother has a white (originally red) 2004 model, but he is taking forever to get his motor done. Not sure if he is going to sell it or not.

I thought 350SS is a Mexican truck. Oh well. I had a 454 from 90-96. The Sport 350 was cool, in that you could get it in white, and get a 5-speed with it.

Anybody trying to get rid of any? I need them as nice as possible/not bent. I have a set of chromes (one slightly bent-outer lip).

Mine might have the post-MAF intake leak.
My CEL only comes on if outside air temp is above 85. Anyone know what is up?

Nope, SS isn't made any more. You didn't say if he knew the truck well or not, so assuming he didn't, I would get them a limo-the girlfriend and hid buds would be a lot more impressed, and you would sleep well no metter what.
