    Yours is the first one I have hears of this happening to. I believe Street Scene makes a similar cover, but I'm not sure. If it was my truck, I would bit the bullet and put another OEM one on. It's not doing the truck justice to put a fake one on.

     

    How does a bumper cover split in half unless it has been whacked pretty hard?

    He said today that we are NO SAFER than we were on 9/10/2001. After all the sacrifices we have all made.

     

    I hope he thought it was April Fool's day. Or maybe he's channeling Tim "The Toolman" Taylor: "MORE POWER! Ugh Ugh Ohhh!"

    LS2, about 400 hp. What I'd really love to hear on it is a Radix :)

     

    Anyway, yeah-it's great driving the Mad Max roads near Melbourne-one of them is just out front of my apartment.

     

    There's still _some_ rear tread left. The guy I rented it from actually measured tread depth when I picked it up.

     

    But there's Gatso speed cameras everywhere and red light cameras which measure speed. So the only places I can have any fun with it is out in the bush.

     

    Today we are doing the Great Ocean Road.

    Back in 03, I got my first papering since 1984. @$$hole high school cop wanted to race me in my orange 03 rcsb. Like a dumbass I waxed him, so he pulls up at the next light screaming at me to pull it over N O W !! Then he called in a city unit to paper me.

     

    I dont hate cops, just those who bait and entrap people.

    Here she is! Almost better than sex :) The 6L80E with select shift is so sweet. I _will_ be getting one, no matter if it's a Holden or a Pontiac.

    Hm.

     

    This is an interesting topic.

     

    I've already given my input as to the whys for it and how to fix them. No one listened, I just got the flag waved in my face and shouted down with "SUPPORT THE TROOPS!!!"

     

    If they attack Iran, my son and I will be staying in Australia. His life is more important to me than supporting a tin-plated dictator and his buddies' bank accounts.

    Here I am again, Down Under with my kid in Oz for another great vacation. In 2 hours I will be on my way to pick up my Aussie rental, a 2007 Holden VE SS Commodore (2009 Pontiac G8). I'm so stoked about it Im about to have a heart attack :) I hope its as good as I think it will be, by what the Aussies are saying they prefer it to the 545i all the way around. So we will see and I will let y'all know.

    I was in PCB a week ago today. It was pretty cold.

     

    Ive been thrown out of every hotel from the Sunspree to Thomas Drive at one time or another. I spent a LOT of time down there before I moved to Cali. Have fun, be safe, and look out for those cops...especially if you drive north.

    heres an idea..i was thinking of doing the SS bumper......so lets all think about this....doesnt the TBSS frotn bumper look similar to that of SSS.....why not try and get a set of TBSS fog lights to work with the SSS bumper....same style from one bumper to next and it looks good on TBSS so it would do the same on the SSS

    Here in Bakersfield, they have been trying to come up with a new motto for the town. Up til now it is "Bakersfield: Life as it should be..."

     

    Well, Im here to tell ya I sent email in to the planning commission with a new one just a while ago:

     

    "Bakersfield: We Drive Faster..."

     

    Congrats to Kevin Harvick on two phenomenal wins this weekend.

     

    And it was the Monday after the Daytona 500 in 05 that I went and got my SS :)

    Im about the most liberal leftie on here and I won't vote for her. Because she would be on the take from the same companies and governments (not our own) that Bush and Cheney are.

     

    I would like to vote for General Wesley Clark if I can. Or _maybe_ even Giuliani, because love him or hate him, he was good for NYC as mayor.

    I got out of a 2001 Tundra Limited 4x4 and into a 2003 Silverado.

     

    I had a lot of issues in 32000 miles-more than any other import I have owned-brakes replaced three times, paint was the thinnest I have ever seen, ratttles, squeaks, leather coming unstitched on the steering wheel and on the seatbacks-lots of other stuff. And I babied that thing. The Silverado on the other hand, except for the 5.3 piston slap, ran perfectly and had zero problems.

     

    Im sorry you have given up on Chevy, but whatever you get, don't buy an import. All these people screaming about supporting America and waving their flags in my face, then they go out and buy a Hyundai...real Americans huh?

     

    Drive a 2007 T900 4X4 extended cab and see if you don't like it better...
