  5. I work in tolland county near Uconn.
  6. Hey Bryan, Welcome to the site. Where in CT are you located, there are a couple members here.
  7. You mean kind of like this.... Sticky
  8. I think it's a waste of money. If you just remove the tray from the bottom where the airbox sat, you will allow more cool air to rise up.
  9. It's not the metal as to the problem of the coating not sticking, it was prep... However looks alright for a home job.
  10. I have been getting alot of questions about powdercoating calipers. They need to be broken down before the coating can go on, so here is a write up on how to replace seals in order to have calipers powdercoated. Caliper Rebuild
  11. Well I have decided to sell my project quad. I just can't seem to find time to put into it anymore. This is a great base for anyone looking to race or have a sweet machine. My project
  12. Personally I think they will just be plain aweome on your truck. You will for sure be set asside fome anything already done, and have a good looking light weight wheel.

    Wiring?

What they want you to do is find the wire that goes hot when the dash lights come on. This is so your guages will light up at night. Not sure what the wire color is, but use a test light at the headlight switch. When you turn on the headlights the test light will go on.
  14. I agree with the don't open it if the post bothers you. I can assure you I have overlooked many posts about things that have been asked many many times before. I also agree that there are those that come on here and are hard pressed for time, and can't dig through old posts, can't figure out the function of the search button and or are just to lazy to look.. However, there is a link when you first sign in to all the most popular "OLD" posts, with links to that topic. Such as Which exhaust Headers ect... As far as being a Post Digger... Use the better judgement on that, if it's a for sale listing that is a year old why not PM versus opening it up with a reply post. For example Matt's post on which wheels... It was opened up after a year or so for no reason at all, other than not looking to see how old the topic was. Mistakes happen.. I do realize this will go on, and you can't change people for being lazy. But He who helps themself first at the end of the day feels better about knowledged gain than borrowed...
  15. Is there really a need for people not to use the SEARCH BUTTON In the last week there have been about six, best exhaust questions. There have been way to many in the past and way to many present questions that have already been answered on this subject, and many others. There should be no need to be so lazy and not take five minutes to research, most of the matters to do with these trucks. Plenty of knowledeable mambers have put together how to's, what works, part number and other endless links here. There have been many members who trial by error put together what works. The very least anyone can do it take the time for look through a couple back posts before asking a really really DUMB mutiple answered question.
  16. What is really means is, the throttle pedal has a potentometer tied into it. This controls a motor at the throttle body and the correspond in realtime movements together... Well are suppose to any how. They are coupled by wires, and not a cable like a carburator is.
  17. Build it, Better, Faster, Stronger... Thats a bummer man, but you knew it was coming atleast you were not far from home.
  18. yes and no... Powder is thick if they are coated wrong you could end up with having to tap or file off some of the ares. But with these it's very hard to mess up. BTW, I have powdercoated several set of them including my own, with no issues... It's just a light coat of paint you may want to use something more or powdercoat them.
  19. If you get 23's you will hate life when you want new rubber on them... 22's are more of a common size.
  20. Try using english, and the search button next time... There are way to many topics about exhaust with sound clips. They also have links to manufactures who have sound clips as well.
  21. That is what I voted as well the 116 in a 22" Do you have weights for any of these wheels?
  22. Chris, those wheels are Sick! The truck will look awesome with those on there.
