  1. EGR x3 .. just make a cover plate for it.. Dynatech's original had the same deal.. second version was done away with hope this helps
  2. Dynatech headers would be my choice.. They make a direct long tube bolt on. here is the link http://www.dynatechheaders.com/sm_chevytruck_60.html Bill
  3. All, I did some searching and I can't find much on my problem.. I did a Z06 brake upgrade a few years ago and was changing my pads and tweaked one of my russell stainless lines. I got a new set of 672430 and they aren't fitting the front hard lines. I called Russell and they claimed they are the right ones.. I have no clue what part number I got a few years ago. I tried both fronts from the new kit and they screw in about one revolution and get very tight. The damaged line screws right in to the hard line. Anyone have any idea if there is a different part number? Thanks in advance for your input. UPDATE: ok.. I just noticed my old lines are EARLS and not RUSSELL. The old part number is EAR-28A640ERL .. Seems these are discontinued. The Russells are a different size at the hard line at least on my 04ss Bill
  4. Thanks for the response.. I'll give him a call and what he recommends... I've heard nothing but good things about the hawk ceramic pads.. I just wasn't sure of the year to get.
  5. I searched and didn't find any information on this, but I'm looking at replacing my Z06 Brake pads this spring. Does anyone know what year pads to get for our trucks? I'm guessing 01-04? I just want to be sure I order the correct hawk pads. Thanks in advance.. Bill
  6. 2nd on the Keystone.. If I wanted true RAM Air this is the one I would have chosen.. However, I opted for the Cowl Induction hood and love it. Here is a link the the GoodMark that many people have on here. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/GMK-4147-200-031/?rtype=10 Here is a link to the keystone ram air hood http://www.keystonerestyling.com/cgi-bin/bjpcat.cgi?user_action=detail&catalogno=GHG117

  9. Thanks for the replies by the way.. I was thinking about the hawk pads as well. Which would have the better bite? Ceramics? Thanks again. Bill
  10. I'm not sure exactly which ones that supersub gave me, but they are yellow ceramic ones. They are OK, but don't seem that aggressive to me.
  11. Hey guys, been forever since I've been on here and it's nice to be back to see new and old peeps. I've been running Z06 calipers for sometime (from supersub) and am looking for replacement pads. I've seen a number of pads out there, but wanted some opinions on the best braking power. I don't use it in a track application at all, but will tow a jet boat on weekends. I'm not sure if I should go with a ceramic pad or not. Thanks in advance for all your responses. Bill

  18. Looks kick ass... where did you get your adams supplies from?
  19. Contact Ray.. he knows his stuff and is a super nice guy to work with. I had to call him several times on the custom cutting of my rear's to fit the 14" rotors.
  20. I finally just installed mine and WHAT a different. I also have 15" rotors up front and 14" in the rear. A special shout out to Ray Supersub for all your help. I will post a seperate thread with pics shortly. One piece of advise if you are doing this upgrade, if you install stainless lines and new brake fluid as I did, You will need to get your truck bled by using the TECH-2 bleeder from the dealer. This removes the air out of your ABS system which is HUGE. Let your face planting begin!!!!!
