I had to drive mine for several miles w/o the front driveshaft in after I put my new trans in. It went fine with no problems... a lot less pull w/o it in though.

With those mods you really shouldn't have lost that bad IMO. I have seen some stock TBSSs run low to high 14s. I know some have been faster but several weren't and with your mods you should be high 13s low 14s. Do you know if it was modified also or not?

I have a very nice set of OEM silver SS wheels and tires off my 2004 Silverado SS. They have approx. 26k miles on them. Tires are Goodyear Eagle LS 275/55 R20s.
